the weld joint is not essential but the brompton welding workmanship is visually better, you did mention the internal gear ratio different but forget that Aceoffix is external gear & this is a huge different

Is there an option to just buy certain parts, like the stem, triangle etc? I like how this stem has 2 bolts (instead of original 1)

My 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton has been changed into a special, even more lightweight version with a lot of extra titanium parts, and a metal carrier block, for now 9,35 kilo. I still have some parts to make it come, hopefully, below 9 kilo. The small wheels make it a horrible bike with much more rolling resistance than ordinary wheels, but its extreme fold makes it fine for other purposes. I have bought titanium carriers for its back, both the shown types, but I normally manage with my Touring front bag. Finn. Denmark
