People younger than me should be aware that in the 1990s and earlier, official US English language translations of manga frequently made alterations to make them more like US comic books. They nearly always had the artwork mirrored so that the pages would read left to right instead of right to left as they originally did.

You are being a bit too literal with what if it was published today. if Soul Eater started today it would look really different, sure the art style would be mostly the same, but not quite, since Fire Force already got a more refine art than SE, same for the fan service, Blair fan service could easily be counter balanced by Stein fan service or some of the other adult males lol But responding the question: I do think so, Soul Eater is pretty unique in power system and storywise, besides it's art style and general "weirdness" would sure fit on today's trend or weirder mangas

Part 2 spacing on releasing chapter and the chapter's pages is what makes it looks boring. But when you read eveything you see it actually work so well! The biggest problem is the release format, but when part 2 get finished and you re-read it you will see how the story was really constructed and how solid it is.

As someone who has consumed both stories, I just prefer Fairy Tail for the art, characters, power system, and overall themes of friendship and comradery. I still want to give Tabata his flowers for his work on Black Clover. Someday I need to try to pick up an art book for the series.

In the beginning of this video I don’t think rukia would let ichigo wipe out those hollows, especially orihime’s brother like that. Even if she can’t fight I the hollows she should at least be able to purified the hollows after ichigo injures them a bit. Plus I’m quite sure rukia would’ve explain to ichigo what he is and what him killing the hollows would mean for the balance of the universe and I don’t see ichigo pointlessly putting everybody in danger like that. So I only think he would completely destroy only the first hollow that attack his family.

Official translation is better than app translation. But I always want to read some manga without official translation. So I usually read them on Pixiv by using Immersive Translate to help me 😂.
