How about risk of incontinence?
You're amazing
What are the rates of ED after these surgery’s?
Great video
Can GET hard after this ???
😊
Is there any advantage to having a SP (supra-pubic) catheter for this procedure?
I have problem of urethral strictures doctors have done blandly meatoplasty it’s so bad plz suggest me what to do
Great video and voice over. It would have been complete to see the pump function though. Thank you
I dont understand how it works, they insert tubes but they are cut and clamped? So what's the use?
Very nice presentation...thank u
I've had 3 kidney and bladder surgeries to remove stones. Now when I pee it comes out in a spray in different directions..not straight out. I have to pee in a jug. My urologist went inside of my penis and did a kind of mini surgery in her office. Worked great for a couple of weeks but now it's coming back. What could be wrong? Scar tissue from the surgeries maybe? It will probable get so bad that I'll have to go to the ER as I will not be able to pee a drop. I believe the surgeries did me in with a stent. I have an enlarged prostate but was able to pee just fine before the surgeries.
Oh my goodness you poor thing 😢. By the way have you got a wife or sex partner? Usually prostate enlargement happens to single men😊
No wife or sex partner. Have to get surgery on 8/31 as I can hardly pee as it sprays all over even up to my face. My doc gave me a catheter to insert to open up my meatus@@bekabeka71 but now it won't go in. She said it stems from 78 years ago as my circumcision wasn't performed right. Unbelievable. I just wish this was over.
How does this affect the function of the leg? I ask because I may be going through this shortly.
Less than 20% in thigh adduction
@@XxDeanPxX Thanks a bunch
Probably more than I want to know.
Thanks for posting this, I had this done back in 2004 when I got a straddle injury when a tractor fell on top of me as well as a load of other injuries. Now I know what the surgeon did to me, it took over 12 months before I got back to work.
How you are feeling now? Are you okay
@@rakeshmohan1870 Cheers pal for asking. This happened in 2004 but still on tramadol for pain control
Physical Therapy student here, thanks for the great video. Helped me understand nonreflexive and reflexive bladder differences.
I had a dilation and am hoping for the best but worry I may have to have the full surgery. I am diabetic and have sleep apnea. Yes I've had other surgery such as elbow replacement and did ok with profolol but still at 70 I worry about major surgery-add that I am on Xaralto for Afib, healing is an issue (bleeding issue) Wish me luck
why the fight club music?
My doctor stopped the cysto and is sending me to a specialist because I had a stricture. Since SBRT I have almost constant hematuria and some large clots

Remind me to never break my pelvis. This is absolutely horrifying. Almost as worse as cartel execution gore videos.
I'm worried about my penis that looks really disturbing either I'm going to pee uncomfortably or I'm going to pee blood thanks for the disturbing surgery yeah I don't need to sleep tonight thanks though now that's going to be in my nightmare
I remember getting this surgery when I was 5 and having a wear a giant thick bandage around it for awhile. Going to the bathroom was soooo painful 😩 all is well now though and it's fully functional 😎

Thank you sir ..
This is the most honest and informative video on the subject. Thanks a ton.
I’m glad it helped. Prayers for a great outcome, no matter what!
I'm going to get BMG urethroplasty February next year. Hope everything goes well.
Prayers you have a great outcome!
@@lynnmonkres6451 thank you so much your prayer 🤲🙏
Getting BMG urethroplasty next week. Hope for positive outcome
Did u do the surgery? How are you right now?
@@mm10311 postponed to end of October this year due to I'm able to urinate normally and need to queue for government funded hospital.
Urethral surgery is just another way for doctors to grease their patients. Most of the patients don’t need to have surgery done; I know, I’m one of them. It took me years to realize I was being conned by the urologists. So here it is: If you can’t go to the bathroom, there are many possibilities as to why you can’t go. One of the most common ones is actually your diet. If your eating food that’s irritating your bladder then guess what? You will have a hard time passing urine or not at all. Start eating food that have anti-inflammatory properties and stop eating the ones that don’t. Another reason may be an infection. Then there are a bunch of underlying issues that may be causing blockage as well. But mostly it’s because of a poor diet. And I dare a urologist or surgeon to tell me otherwise. Think about it; if you’re unable to pass urine some days and other days, you can go normally, then it’s NOT a complete complete blockage or else you wouldn’t be able to go at all. It took multiple surgeries and dilations to figure out the real problem I had. And of course the urologist won’t suggest eating a certain diet. God forbid they should lose business. Well folks, there it is.

Sir when i was born i had dream bifida and also problem of urinary & stool incontinence which i have till now and i am 19 years old Although I had the surgery at the same time but I still have the problem of urinary incontinence and it does not seem to be getting better so is surgery possible in my case please tell me sir because 💔😢suicide is my last option

Sir what is youer age
I am having this done 1/7/22. Any info you could provide as to your recovery time, amount of pain and how it is now working out for you. Thank you
@@johnr8439 what was your outcome? What was the recovery?
Horrific than a movie
Well if I ever need a button sewed onto my shirt, I’ll come to you 😏jk Good job.
I've had a suprapubic for 8 months. 80 percent sounds good but I'm worried. Please pray for me. I was in a car accident and broke my pelvis.
I’m sorry to hear about your injury :/ Definitely praying for a great recovery. I had suprapubic for about a year. I was shot and the bullet graced my urethra. My last surgery was a year+ ago. The survey was successful & im back to normal & have no ED either. Definitely keeping you in prayers, recovery is what takes the longest. be patient & try to keep optimistic. Soon enough, you’ll be feeling a lot better.
@@Gmane2525, I’m still wandering if s suprapubic catheter is better than incontinence or going through having an Artificial Urinary sphincter. Both sound dreadful.
@@lynnmonkres6451 it’s just a matter of what you’d be content with living with. Have to weigh out the options.
I see a urologist in a week to see if I can get this procedure done. I suspect I was injured when a dopey teeny-bopper female nurse violently yanked out a Foley catheter four years ago as if she was starting a chainsaw. WTF? I had a recent cystoscopy that revealed the problem - the cystoscopy had to be aborted because it could not get to my bladder due to scar tissue stricture and instead caused bleeding and was a shock to myself and my urologist.
@@Gmane2525 Hello Gabriel , so did you had posterior stricture? What procedure did they use , BMG or Anastomotic urethroplasty? Hope you are doing good now
My penile shaft base sunken due to the gap at the frontal bone of my pelvic bone. So I can't maintain a hard enough erection and I feel pain inside the penile base and extended to my perineum. I had an open book fracture from a motorbike accident last year.
Same here bro but I've recovered 90 percent now... accident took place on 16th November 2020
thanks
Oh my god this is scary
I have neurogenic bladder as a result of cerebral palsy which causes me to wet myself sometimes
That doesn't work for me because of my cerebral palsy my bladder never empties completely so it overflows and I still pee myself at night sometimes and intermittent catheterization caused bleeding for me and I peed myself every night, I'm so embarrassed
It's my brain itself actually so it can't be cured, when I have to urinate I have to urinate right away or I will have an accident and sometimes I don't feel I have to urinate and completely wet myself and my bed, it's annoying especially when I'm sleeping and I get so embarrassed when I get wet
Thanks alot, very useful
One member of my family aged 60 has recently got severe lumbar spinal stenosis with degenerative disc bulges & loss of bladder & bowel functions normally. So as you have said if the spinal injury isn't in the sacral region then it is the problem of brain nerves ,might be nerves compressed due to narrowing of spine & does that mean after a few months bowel & bladder functions will return to normal?? Is the cauda equina syndrome cause of spinal injury to lumbar region or sacral region or can be of both???Please reply if you can Sir! Thank you
I have a large collection of sphincter photos, and bring them out when I'm having a sodomy party here at home. People love to see the rashes and the stains.
