Costa Blanca travelers.Hi our names are Pat and Rose and our channel is all about our travels to various places in Valencia region and beyond. Pat is a retired primary school teacher, having taught all ages from from early years to year six.

An Autumn Stroll in Parque Reina Sofia, Guardamar
Hola mi Amigas,
Today I visited Parque Reina Sofia, in Guardamar for an Autumn Stroll. The park is a wonderful Oasis not far from the centre of the town. It has an abundance of wildlife and has many pathways and ponds to watch the wildlife.
The wildlife includes, chickens, ducks, geese and peacocks. If you are lucky you may see some squirrels and also keep a look out for the parakeets up in the trees, they are small long tailed parrots.
In the park there are lots of seating areas for a picnic and a children's play area with ropes swings and climbing apparatus. On the other side of the park there is a restaurant cafe and if you like walking and cycling you can visit Parque Alfonso XIII where you can follow various historical trails through the pine trees and sand dunes to the beach.

So glad you did this video! I'd forgotten all about this shop! We arrived back in Benejuzar yesterday after a whole 10 months away. Hopefully going to kickstart our own Spain Channel once we've got the decorating and cleaning up done here.

Media Markt is like Currys in the UK. It sells TV's, house hold appliances, anything electrical really. It might have been better shot in full screen ( phone horizontal) instead of vertical. Nice to see Zenia boulevard again!

So weird seeing the Avon lady, Elaine on this video! I actually tried to order some skin so soft spray off her when I was over in October. Its supposed to stop mosquito bites. I was getting bitten to pieces and emailed her Avon page but she never replied! Now I can see the guilty party lol
Did you get the Spanish non lucrative visa and pay for private medical insurance? We looked at it but opted for a French visa as it was a whole lot simpler. We don't get a full 12mths in Spain and France but can get 9 months , no need for private health insurance and still retain our NHS etc...I did hear though that Spain will bring out a home owner visa soon like France.
Yes we are on a non lucrative visa, and are now in the process of applying for our next two year visa. Luckily we didn't need private medical, as I was able to get on the S1 and am now on the Spanish medical system. You are lucky being able to get a French visa, and avoid the extra hassle a non lucrative brings. Thanks for your support of the channel.
@@patrickperkins8089 Oh yeah of course, the S1. The French gives us 6 months long stay plus we keep our schengen time so we can use the 3 months schengen directly after the 6 then have to return to UK for 3 months before we can use 3 months schengen again. Then the french 6 starts again. At least after the next 2 you will get permanent residency which will mean less hassle for you.
Great video. Didn't realise there were that many shops in Algorfa. Have you changed your way of filming? It looked quite clear and sharp and the sound seemed really good too.

Looks like a lot of construction going on. We will have to explore Algorfa next time we are over. We drove through the centre everyday on our away to La Zenia. I did a drone video in Benejuzar, I will upload it to my other UA-cam and maybe post the link here if you want to see it.

You have a great selection of videos but it is a shame that lots of them are let down by very poor audio and video quality. I cannot hear you a lot of the time when you are out and about. I'd suggest investing in some new equipment like a brand new iphone or gopro. Please don't see it as a bad comment, I just wanted to suggest something to grow your channel, ty.

We were going to do a costa blanca channel when we were in Spain but had so much to do we never managed to get started! We have lots of content to upload but no time lol
