The only starter that i can see being a support very clearly is Meganium,i mean it doesn't have anything other than average bulk lol.We also need Chesnaught to complete the Kalos starter, he's definetely a defender (Also if Greninja was released later,he could've been a speedster)
Wish granted
Where?
Does every pokemon in the party gain the ev or just the leader?
Every pokemon
@@Shocari thanks
Does every pokemon in the party gain the ev or just the leader?
Just got gameplay on Metagross in Pokemon unite && it is an all rounder well done
looks like i got some of the moves/effects right at least, i'll take it!
@@Shocari haha definitely nice
Metagross is now leaked might be released after meowscarada
I thought primarina would have encore as one of the moves to let allies go again or lock the enemy into their last used move
the good news: the strat works. kinda. turns out that on turn 2, it negates abilities/boosts, so the attack charge AND the special attack boost from hadron engine - donezo. so just boost then and attack turn 3? it puts that shield up SO SOON as well as negating the fake tears. So if there's a way to OHKO this thing within 2 turns, i don't know what it is. The good news is, you can just keep spamming heals/defense boosts with the mausholds while miraidon attacks, and then all helping hand once it terastallizes to take down the decidueye in a couple more hits. and iron hands solos it, quite comfortably. Just use Protec turn 1 in case of a stray brave bird and use belly drum on turn 2! shell bell to keep healing off thunder punch, and you beat it before the timer hits half!
I’m just going to get a rowlet from one of my friends I’m not trying to grind for these trained Pokémon
Valid!
Objection! lol We'd love to have ya in these raids- too many people bowin' out. Just follow these guide and feel the rush :)
Looks like it might be March 17th! I just read "friday" and assumed so i could get this out faster! My mistake!
Alright who's using Slowbro
hopefully no one!
Got it first try with Arboliva. Ezpz strategy. Thank you!
I have to thank you for this strat, especially the Sawsbuck strat. It was so effective, I literally didn't have to level up to 100, use bottle caps, *or* EV train it. Just 95 Large XP candy. The only thing I changed that felt necessary was I taught mine Sunny Day. I also left Bullet Seed on since it was a move it already had, and I used *that* to charge my Tera. That turned out to be unnecessary. Turn 1, Sunny Day, for all the reasons you mention in one of the other strats. Bullet Seeded until I died, Bullet Seeded again until I could Tera [and in a complete bullshit move, it stole Tera energy for me *AFTER I HIT TERA*. It happened between selecting my move and firing off, and the Tera didn't trigger. So it took a little longer to get my strat going than yours. But again, all I spent were some XP candy. Once I finally got my Tera up, it was Swords Dance, Horn Leech, Swords Dance twice, and Horn Leech five more times. Since I needed four Bullet Seeds to get my Tera going, I could have done the whole fight with just Horn Leech like you did. I just assumed I was going to need too many turns since I had poor stats, but nope! Perfectly clean kill. If Pikachu ever comes back into the Mightiest rotation, it's going to be an *easy* farm. I'd totally keep the raid around for a few more days, but I want to get myself an Iron Leaves ASAP.
Awesome! Super glad it worked for you, especially since its Sawsbuck and I love it ❤️ I definitely hope they bring it back! As for Iron Leaves, ye olde Gholdengo strat works wonders! Setting up swords dance with Scizor/Aegislash and hitting with x-scissor/shadow claw also does the job!
Clodsire with water absorb immune to thunder + surf not very effective on play rough and neutral on iron tail i think Held item leftovers Moveset Recover Earthquake Curse Last move whatever Hyper train everything exept sp.Atk Vitamins in hp and Atk Max it
To evade the steal tera do atk cheer so it remains at three and it is slower but consistent at least for me cuz lurantis just doesn't work for me
More solid than Appletun and Grass Tera Jolteon it seems
Yep! Being Grass to begin with already gives you and advantage vs Thunder and Surf, and then gives you a 2x damage bonus for going Tera Grass to make the fight even easier!
This raid was ease
I used meowscarada holding a shell bell, used knock off to get rid of Pika's held item so he does less attack, used random move to get terra, then use flower trick to get health back with shell bell and then hone claws, attack then damage buff attack then buff then go to town with attack. Easy win
used the leafeon build and solo'd it first try! thank you!!!
Good job! Glad it helped!
I use clodsire myself because it feels the most reliable. He only hits with iron tail and play rough which don't do a lot of all. I don't get paralyzed which is why I don't like lurantis (i lost 80% due to bad rng) so far I only died once to rng and that was an iron tail Crit when I was at half health. It may be slow but it works
That’s where covert cloak can come in handy! Or leafeon with leaf guard to prevent it while the sun is up! Even still, Lurantis with sun up should be fine since it puts thunder at 50% accuracy, and even then it only has a 30% chance to paralyze! But to each their own!
@@Shocari that very true. I had a lurantis and even with the 30% on the coin flip attack I was getting paralyzed way too often. Though I may try with the other pokemon later on.
@@geraldd500 definitely give the sawsbuck a try! it's my go-to!
I prefer to use Harvest Arboliva because it doesn’t die! It carries online raids too, my build is 252 HP 240 SPA 16DEF Modest nature Ability: Harvest Held Item: Sitrus Berry Moveset is- Sunny Day, Growth, Giga Drain, and Solar Beam Turn order- First turn you Sunny Next 3 turns you Growth Then Giga Drain until you have Tera (the animation is quicker than SB) Tera Sunny Day Solar Beam twice and you win. (You only need to once if you have other teammates with good Tera mons too/ Clodsire or the likes with Acid Spray) Harvest Sitrus Berry keeps you alive pretty indefinitely, if you get paralyzed use a cheer to cleanse (or hope and pray a teammate does lol) This build has helped me grind these raids like crazy, just be sure you have good teammates before confirming your Pokémon on the selection screen lol. (Honesty tho I’ve still carried with a Clodsire to help and the two other people kept dying so, this build goes hard) This build is for the long run especially online, a lot of times you’ll be running pretty close to the timer’s end (especially if teammates are dying lol). But yeah I prefer immortality to the death strats lol
i don't know how much you can really consider it a death strat if you're only dying once bc trying to heal otherwise puts you into a loop lol but that build would solo pretty easily as well! I try to avoid online raids with randoms because they're so unreliable, but with friends it shouldn't be a problem!
@@Shocari for sure! Actually having raid participants with seed sower and Sunny Day (Lurantis/Lilligant/other Arboliva) is even more ideal because the grassy terrain boosts everyone’s moves and if you wait to see if someone else has Sunny Day it’ll save you that first turn and you can get to the big damage faster
For sawsbuck you can also put on tera blast for rounds where you dodge his attack the round before makes it faster
only very, very marginally. not really enough to make a difference in # of hits needed since the difference will be made up via pre-tera attacks & whatever your allies manage to do during that time
How does everyone build a lvl 100 Pokémon with evs so quickly for a new raid?
so the easiest way is to just have some candy from farming raids, takes like 30-40 xl candy to go from 1-100. Alternatively, you can pop a sandwich and farm chansey(lucky egg helps quite a bit)! scarlet players can use the ultra-herbed sausage to farm great tusk, while violet players can use the ultra noodle sandwich to farm iron moth! both of these increase encounter rate for one of their types while increasing xp gain for the other! as for ev training, vitamins are fastest, but you can fully ev train 6 pokemon in 10-15 minutes the old fashioned way! i have a video on my channel showcasing it!
@@Shocari thank you for the response I’ll definitely take a look. Ive seen so many people doing this and I was wondering how.
@@Nick-md9fx no prob! Once you have a good arsenal built up, you can just blow through 5-7 stat raids with ease and farm all the rewards!
Your Leafeon strategy worked for me, thanks!
awesome! glad it could help!
I know you're teaching me how to solo it....but can I get a carry? :P
free pika for u
With how Sawsbuck works, Gogoat can also work. If you want to outspeed the Pikachu while having the same attack, you're going 180 Speed/252 attack with 78 leftover for your choice of defensive stat. It ends with more bulk than Sawsbuck, so you have more room to play around, but you'll need to take one extra turn setting up Sunny Day for Growth when you tera.
Gogoat was SO close to making the cut for this video! probably should have over Lurantis who was probably the only real popular one here
Be sure to have your sawsbuck hyper trained.
Ev trained arguably more important depending on if the IVs are abysmal or not!
These seem a bit faster than just using Clodsire or Gastrodon
Much faster!
Wo-Chien the easiest solo with 60% timer left; - 252 EVS to SpA & Defense(stops Pikachu from using Play Rough), 6 EVS to HP - Max IVS - Nature: Modest - Moveset: Growth, Knock Off, Sunny Day, Giga Drain - Item: Covert Cloak - Start with Sunny Day followed by Knock Off and the rest comes easy, once terastallized, use Growth six times, use Atk cheer, 3-4 Giga Drains kills it 🤝🏽
Another viable set! I just didn’t go for it because that’s about 15 turns whereas these all go much faster! But to each their own! I just want as fast as possible for the most efficient grinding lol
Leafeon looked good to be fair!
@@B33RUS Sawsbuck is my fav out of all of them! But I also enjoy mindlessly spamming A on Giga Drain for choice specs Arboliva lmao
Thank you for this Sawsbuck worked a treat
You’re welcome! Sawsbuck is one of my favorites so I’m glad it has a chance to shine!
@@Shocari It'll be even better for you then because I lost count the amount of attempts I had which included other people's build which just didn't work
@@TheJoeGillam that’s why I prefer solo! I don’t trust randoms and don’t like attempting to coordinate with other people bc just one error can set you back so far and depending on who’s playing someone can just bring all the energy down!
I don't have enough candies to level up a Mon to 100. No funny pika-raid for me lol
I have a video up that showcases an easy grinding method! If you have scarlet, you can also quickly grind vs Great Tusk, while Violet can quickly grind vs Iron Moth!(there’s a sandwich that makes one of their types more common while boosting xp vs their other type)
Dude awesome video, I found this so so helpful. Keep up the awesome content broski
Thank you so much! I’m glad it was useful! And I will, don’t worry 😄
I've been using the Clodsire strat but I'm switching it up to use my Leafeon. Thanks!
Hope it helps! But if you were able to make clodsire work, then more power to you!
Sawsbuck is op
just bring your clodsire/guagsire, ability Water absorb, Tera Type Ground, just make it level 100 then give him Curse, Recover, earthquake (max pp) thats it... Do not need any grass mons 🤷♂️ So whoever planning on bringing mewscarada in online raids just dont
That’s for online raids! These are all intended for solo! And as you can see, they are all far faster than the clodsire strat!(they aren’t even sped up by that much, they clocked in around 3-4 minutes with all of the animations intact).
you also have mons in Quagsire/Clodsire/Gastrodon/Palossand that are immune to water with the right ability and immune to electric as well so pikachu is forced to iron tail or play rough. in that case you can run curse on any of the 4 mons, palossand being a bit trickier due to needing to tera first before you can curse up. curse will make it so only a crit from pikachu threatens you which can be fixed with heal cheer. in the case of the other 3 mons, you curse up until it steals tera charge, then get in 3 hits after to then tera and finish off your buffs from curse before spamming a ground tera EQ. with my clodsire i have it set for max defense and attack evs with a brave nature and covert cloak to prevent attack and defense drops from iron tail/play rough, using poison jab 3 times to get the tera off before it steals charge a second time and possibly poison to add a tiny bit of extra damage until it removes negative effects. im able to do it in about half the timer they give you and even one time i got slightly above half time remaining. you might not be doing super effective damage like with a grass type but its not needed as long as youre able to set up your curse and spam EQ after going ground tera with one of those four pokemon. short answer: Quagsire/Clodsire/Gastrodon/Palossand with their water immune ability, so Water Absorb/Storm Drain/Water Compaction. 252 Attack/252 Defense/6 HP. Ground Tera, Covert Cloak, Brave Nature with Curse and Earthquake at minimum for moveset. extremely easy pikachu win without getting crit, easy win still if crit with heal cheer use to fix the extra damage taken from the crits you took.
Yep! I specifically called out clodsire and gastrodon bc I knew those would be popular picks because of the immunity to half of pikachus moveset! However all 4 of them just take far too long to set up for my own liking, and even then, don’t take the pikachu down as fast as I would like. You would not believe the amount of calculations and tests I ran before making this lol
This Arboliva build is too janky, I used Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Giga Drain and Growth. With Harvest and the corresponding Berry which was Mago for me. 1st Sunny Day then spam the Growth until max, after that use Solar Beam. Just keep an eye out for the Sunny Day and your health but by then you'll either be topped up with Giga Drain or the Berry. You don't even get knocked out in the process. This also works with Seed Sower cause my brother used the same moveset and it worked for him just use a Covert Cloak instead of the Berry.
And that’s another valid build! But as you can see I really had 0 problems with mine! Just goes to show how relatively simple it is to beat this raid!
BRUH, THE LEAFEON IS THE WAY ‼️
i definitely prefer sawsbuck here, but yeah leafeon can get it!
Thank you for this! I used Sawsbuck! Glad Sawsbuck has a chance to shine for this raid. :)
Use PP Ups to increase leaf storms PP remember guys. Lurantis build
yep! just enough to get the job done without having to resort to solarbeam, unless you just get unlucky and miss!
I managed to get it first try using my arboliva! READY FOR THE NEXT EVENT!
congrats! i'm looking forward to it as well! hope it's something cool!
Clodsire worked for me. He didn’t knock me out cause his water moves didn’t effect me cause his ability was water absorb. & play rough didn’t effect me either. I had clodsire Tera type ground. Holding a shell bell.
Clodsire/Gastrodon/Palossand all have insane longevity vs this raid, but it also takes a very long time to both set up and then KO by comparison, so I opted against them! But if it works for someone, then it works for them! Just not to my own liking lol
Great video! I love some of the builds here, I personally decided to go with Arboliva (mainly because I've been wanting to shiny-hunt it for a while), and your set worked like a charm!
Glad it did! Arboliva was the 2nd one i figured out because i noticed it in the team during my sawsbuck test and i realized it had the easiest terrain pulse of all time!
I used a clodsire with water obsorb trailblaze curse x6 grass tera type and it has the covert cloke it will not do a lot of damage but it will be enouth for your friends to attack wit lurantis also grassy strain is good to
yeah there's a ton of strats that work for group settings! i just wanted to focus on solo since some people might prefer it or just not have friends to play with!
Clodsire perfect for this
for sure! just too slow for my liking lol
I used clodsire but it is interesting that this is the first one I've seen where u move first with the sawsbuck
Sawsbuck has a higher base speed than pikachu, and since neither are trained in speed, sawsbuck moves first!
@@Shocari I never thought about sawsbuck being that fast
@@zacharybecker8228 base 95 to pika's base 90!
@@Shocari also alot of the other choices all go 2nd clodsire, gastrodon, lurantis gardevoir, wo-chien, arboliva. sawsbuck was the first one i saw go first
@@zacharybecker8228 all of those are slower than pika! sawsbuck and meowscarada would be the most efficient faster options that i can think of off the top of my head!
Great video and great builds. I've been farming with Toedscruel and focusing on knocking off the light ball turn one. Then went acid spray x3 and spammed giga drain (would acid spray again whenever he reset his drops). I like the Arboliva build and the idea of mindlessly spamming attacks without setup to farm this pikachu. Keep up the nice work!
thank you! i tried to avoid stat drops since Pika seems to be pretty much impossible to OHKO because of the shield's damage mitigation as opposed to other 7 stars where it's more possible. Did you manage to win with Toedscruel? That sounds like a very protracted fight that might cut too close to time for my liking lol
Nice video, you explain things well and clear.
thank you! i always try to be as clear as possible, but here it felt even more necessary since this raid is so functionally different compared to the others and more specific steps need to be taken!
I think others found this difficult at first because dying wasn't considered in the strat because it was a detriment in the previous raids but seeing that the time penalty for dying here seems lower and a way to circumvent the Orb Charge drain, it makes a lot a grass types viable. Thanks for the guide!!
I love that it actually works! It wasn't anything i really anticipated when i was putting these builds together, but i noticed on my first test(Sawsbuck) that it was actually really effective, it made me re-evaluate and see if any other Pokemon could function in a similar way, which it turns out several can!
Thank you so much for this! I used your Sawsbuck method and got it on my second try. I also gave it an Adamant nature since I had a spare mint for it, but I don't think it was even necessary. Super easy!
Awesome! Glad it could help! Yeah, it definitely wasn't necessary bc I think mine is impish? I think its Attack stat is good enough for it to not matter too much! I'd say if the attacking base stat is like 85 or below it's probably a better idea!
Adamant sawsbuck is best sawsbuck
@@BlitzenXmasX adamant Sawsbuck go brrrrr…. Especially bc mine was winter lmfao
I used a Protean Meowscarada with a Shell Bell Knock Off to get rid of Light Ball, then spammed it until I died. Once back, Flower Trick to turn pure grass, Tera, 2 Hone Claws, Flower Trick, 2 more Hone Claws, then Flower Trick to death. Alternatively, you can replace Hone Claws/Flower Trick with Giga Drain and 3 Nasty Plots then have Covert Cloak as the held item
it's amazing how many different strategies can work against Pikachu compared to previous 7 star raids, and yet people seem intent on thinking this one is somehow more difficult than the others!
I gave my Meowcarada Sucker Punch (egg), Knock Off, Hone Claw, and Flower Trick. In sequence, I used Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Sucker Punch, die, come back and tera Grass, then Hone Claw till I get to yellow and Flower Trick to death. Works every time.
@@dancordeirobr meowscarada was very close to making the cut for this video!
