Marvelous! Bravo! Thank you!
Sounds really cool. I love me some microtones...
thank you! I am happy to hear that!
Wow, so many wires and connections to create something so divinely mediocre and uninspired!!!
thank you for the compliment, its my absolute goal to create uninspired works. maybe next your we can commission you?
but in all seriousness, there are no wires or connectors required for this piece. I think what you are seeing is the computer in the background that is recording all of the concerts and lectures. We created this symposium as a means for experimentation and learning, so we wanted to be able to distribute it online. I appreciate you being honest about my music being terrible though!
Will it be damaged if you move too quickly?
No
Sublime
amazing! love this !!
keep posting! it makes my day!!
love this! it sounds absolutely amazing!!
I always enjoy when your videos come out!! wonderful!!
this is incredible! as an artist myself i find this type of music inspirational!! keep up the good work!
that's pretty cool
thank you <3
Thank you organon
*Plays all C major notes* Switches key*
this is microtonal
Ok, so I'm doing some house chores and have this running in the background. Three and a half hours later I start to wonder, hey, this piece is really looooooooooong, and now it's becoming a bit monotonous, isn't it? Turns out it's a youtube short and it's running on endless loop. 😂
SEE HEAR (audiovisual piece presented following the lecture): ua-cam.com/video/S99DJ5mypmw/v-deo.htmlsi=F4_LvtRLVzX-qAWh
it would be nice to have audio examples here and there from time to time for each of the math examples
I added a link in the description to the audiovisual piece presented directly after the lecture.
Audio gets much better at 2:29
Thanks to Alyssa Aska, Martin Ritter, and Klaus Lang, as well as the entire team of the Organon Project in Graz, it was a wonderful weekend with great music and presentations!
It was so great to have you :) thank YOU!
I had the privilege of attending a class about tuning systems with Klaus, it was one of the best classes I ever took, ever!
Subsidized idi*cy. Why was this nons*nse recommended by UA-cam?
I used to have a mentally ill person live next door to me on 8 bishops drive, newnham, Tasmania. Her name was Kay. She used to pump out some absolutely deranged shit on piano around 2001-2003. Some of it later sounded like to me about ten years in life like the pirates of the Caribbean, Davey Jones Locker. Which came after her bat shit crazy performances the whole street could hear. That made far more sense than this…..
is this not doxxing?
Love it. Haunting and beautiful 💯
Sepehr Karbassian is a great story teller, if you take the time to listen to his story, you are drawn into it and make it your own. There are certain similarities, in my opinion (!), with one of his other compositions: shades I. But this time with even more silence and more tensive.
Kaye, is that you? I miss you getting off my disabled housemate who was a prescription medication addicted submariner honourably discharge
what is also really important about this, both for Sepehr and all of the other composers who wrote for Frescobaldi^2: they were commissioned to write a piece for an instrument which was in the development phase and never had pieces written for it before! so it was really brave of everyone to contribute pieces to the concert without knowing fully what was possible and what would or could happen in the end ;) and despite this, the pice makes use of the very specific features important to the Fresco.
The description should have included a link to a page explaining what exactly an Enharmonic Organ is. I presume it's for playing a certain kind of microtonal music.
If you look there is a link to the group that developed the attachment, and on this channel there are actually 2 or 3 other videos describing it.
when the music majors try way to hard and just produce ass music
thanks! I've always wanted to produce ass music, so much more fun than leg music.
not all music is supposed to make you want to dance a lot of music is deliberately written to make you uncomfortable or introspective that being said art is subjective, so like. if this piece makes you want to dance, that's cool. its also cool if you dont like it. to paraphrase ghostface killah; this is art. the person that did it knows what the fuck it is
@@littlesnowflakepunk855 as the person who made the piece, yes 100% - it is actually an exploration of a dynamic retuning piano, which is pretty cool. but I get it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Luckily there is a lot of tea out there!!!
Much better than music that all sounds the same...
Ah, finally the answer to the age-old question; "Tune down for what?"
this comment made my day haha!
LMAO 🤣
I’m on board with that sentiment

What a beautiful instrument! Thanks.
thank you! :)
😻 cool
Very interesting idea! And it sounds amazing. 👍👍
Do all pipe organs have a string or spring attached to the bellow? if there are non, and there is no heavy weights on the Bellow, will it give issues ? Reason being is that when i strike a chord and in a few secs it goes softer or dim ! First chord is loud, rich and firm, in a few seconds it looses key slightly and goes softer. Please advise.

It sounds like you're having an issue with the reservoir not retaining enough air to run the organ, may need a bigger reservoir or a more powerful motor.
