SUCCESS - A Race To Alaska Story
Four Idaho sailors battle the elements in the legendary Race to Alaska aboard a small sailing vessel, as they attempt the notorious Seymour Narrows, Cape Caution and Hecate Strait. Well, I never expected there to be more than one DogSmile in the world… I think this is a great program Jon! You should keep it up and I might even try it out at some point. My 7th grade reading teacher was a sailer, he went every weekend and very much enjoyed it!
Just finished listening to your interview with Emma on the 59 North Podcast. It's a great thing you're doing. I have been working in sail training for the last decade and have seen it empower tons of people. For me it's all about the people that need it most. A lot of what you said resonated with me. I have done some voyages facilitating very wealthy and privileged youth, it's really easy to feel disenchanted by that sort of thing. I always try to focus and help the bursary kids the most. I wish you every success with your non profit! A seriously worthy cause. Ryan
