You dont have to go over 99 agl bc thats the max bracket for you roll anyway. Attunement also increases agility. Concerning ADP and roll frames

The upgrade screen is never your true damage In your menu press triangle with the weapon equipped and it will automatically add your damage for you In kindof brown r1 r2 r3 l1 l2 l3 If you two hand the weapon it also changes the numbers automatically its very useful. But if you hit a hard armor enemy with 400 slash damage its still only going to do like 200 slash damage Soul protection ring also protects humanity and costs 3k to fix

A +6 mace comes in handy against enemies with armor, if you want, you wont be disappointed. Especially using it to grind the old knights youll make your souls back. Or the morning star off the ledge at majula with the cleric sacred chime Always smash titanite lizards with large or great club r2 doesnt need to be upgraded it just falls straight and stuns it either way Also an estus shard in small well in majula hit the rock off And should be homeward bones up next to covenant of champs at majula.

Dont forget the item behind the cupboard shelves up the stairs on the left in no mans warf idk if you got it In ps3 its a soul protection ring or a ring of restoration Also this is one of the only places actually useful to use lockstone And you can backstab the bat dudes. Believe it or not I have seen messier gameplay. I've seen someone run around No Man's Wharf for a couple hours and continuously not pull the lever to ring the bell. So you could have suffered much more there lol Parry Instructor The Pursuer died of ADP lol but yeah he's supposed to teach players to either: how to parry, learn to use the environment to advantage, how strafe, or how to dodge. He is rather forgiving on being parried. Also the buckler you picked up is *THE* parry shield. You get an earlier and longer window for parries. There is a section of Forest of Fallen Giants you haven't been to. If you go down the ladder from 2nd bonfire, turn left, go through the door to your left, there will be a door you can unlock to the right. Bring a torch You've also ignored the entire left side of Heide's Tower. Before you explore it though try fighting the large soldier in the circular room. Try to defeat him without leaving the arena. Also you'll be able to infuse weapons soon. So you don't *have* to level the fire sword. Also I am so proud of you for not giving in to wasting early game souls to buy the Cat Ring. Absolute waste. There's a secret way down to that later game area.

Been fun watching your playthrough so far; hope you're having fun it. My personal favorite in the series. You're correct though, DS2 is much, much longer than 1 & 3, especially if you're doing the DLCs (which I highly recommend).

I don't know if you like Greatswords or not. But there was one in the chest you left past the three long armed guys that hate light. It's S scaling with strength & supposed to be one of the best strength weapons i think. BIG SWORD!
