    • @stealthveils6939
      @stealthveils6939 4 місяці тому

      No need to cut the corners on most post applications. Our veil stretches enough to pull the veil over the corner at the same time removing any wrinkles. Then can either cut off the excess veil or grind off later. There are several over videos that show pulling the veil over corners.

    And, yes! It really is as easy as it looks. Let the technology of Stealth Veils make the magic happen. Epoxy was not used due to low UV resistance. The customer service at this company is unbelievable. See the Veil, use the Veil, be the Veil!

    Let me start by saying that I ordered my first veil from Stealth Veils yesterday. I actually received a call about my order. I was absolutely blown away with the fast and excellent customer service that I received. My veil shipped this morning. Thanks so much! I saw you doing this, but you didn’t expound upon it. You need to “chop” the last flood coat to assure that all of the 1/8” trowel marks are broken up. The only color that I saw during this video was green- as in how much money I’m going to make using this product and concept.

    • @stealthveils6939

    Why not use epoxy? How did you get the material on the ends to look seemless?

    • @stealthveils6939
      @stealthveils6939 7 місяців тому

      We love using epoxy with our veils, but in exterior projects due to there lack of UV protection. We've used them before and after 1 season outside it turned amber. We'll either use a marine grade UV polyester gelcoat or a polyaspartic. As far as the ends go I just darted them with a par of scissors and a razor blade. I overlapped the veil just off the point of the canoe to one side, made my cut and but joined the two pieces of veil, it stretches just perfectly to make it seamless. Hope this helps.

    How does it hold up to UV exposure , will the colors fade if exposed to the sun, also is it heat resistant

    • @stealthveils6939
      @stealthveils6939 4 роки тому

      If the veil is coated by a UV resistant coating it does really good. Our polyaspartic line is superior when it comes to UV protection. If indoors Our UV resistant Epoxy does a good job as well. our epoxies have a hdt od 220f and our polyaspartics are rated to 350f. cool thing with our polyaspartic line is your able to apply them is temps -30f up to 110f which no epoxy can do.

    Why'd you skip on how you put the veil on ? Looks like it was cut then at the end its all neat. So what you do ? epoxy to the bottom, staple, glue ? More questions than answers in it.

      I'm sorry freebird, I'm totally new to this videoing and more importantly editing. Large segments of the video didn't record and I was unaware until after I had the veil down and the saturation applied. I apologize we are working on several new videos that will start to be released next week. To answer your question of how we apply the veil to the substrate we use a spray adhesive, usually loctite from lowes or home depot. What the two marble videos they show the steps pretty well. Again I apologize we'll get better I promise.
