2024 09 22 Packard Rosie Memorial Garden Dedication
Yesterday, at the Packard Motor Car Proving Grounds Historic Site outside Detroit, there was a “National Rosie the Riveter Memorial Rose Garden” dedication ceremony to honor the Packard “Rosie the Riveters” who worked at the Detroit Packard Plant during World War II. My mother was one of the eight women to be honored with a rose bush and marker.

That drum roll and confetti rain at the end is so good!
Thanks Bob for assembling this- terrific and brings back wonderful memories! 😊
Do you have the DVD to this parade?
Sorry, I only have this version posted to UA-cam, but thanks for asking. I hope you enjoyed it.
Detroit's a classic
Sorry, Macy's is a nice parade BUT, let's face it, Macy's is modeled after Detroit's Parade. I love the Detroit parade and its well worth the 65 miles I travel to see it.
Great Job! Happy Thanksgiving.
Its so nice to see that there are still cities in this country that are doing their own Thanksgiving parades, besides N.Y.C.
The Macy's Parade in N.Y.C. is bigger and better
Larry A to Z Then go watch that .
