Hey you ♡ I adore this meditation. But I have a [maybe newbie, even though i am not that much of a noob] question: you took Anu as the 3rd aspect. On all the literature I read so far, the 3rd sister was Nemain and Anu also an aspect of The Morrigan, but more like "all sisters at once"-aspect, as far as I understood. However, as Anu gave me the most reaction in this meditation, I would love to know, on whether Anu covers Nemain, or really the Mother of the Deities Anu-part? I wanna dig deeper into my research regarding that aspect of The Morrigan ♡

Loved this. Very thoughtful guidance and I feel stronger and assisted in my creative projects- insights arrived, kindness throughout As to “not able to visualize”- sometimes I get images but I tend strongly towards clairsentience and clairaudience and those are my strengths. I got a little annoyed by you saying “not able to visualize “ like it is a problem, even while you are clearly supporting and wanting to support the rest of us. I subscribed when you invited journaling! I think clairaudient people do well with words in multiple dimensions. So maybe instead of saying what we don’t do as well or at all, think of us as a multi learning style group and add questions that draw out our different ways of knowing, such as What are you sensing? What does it feel like? What do you hear? What words come to mind? Thanks for asking! I think I felt safe and encouraged to write my response freely here because of it Really a helpful and supportive and CREATIVE meditation- I truly appreciate it

I listen to this once a day before I go to bed. I actually listen to all of your presentations. I am particularly quite fond of this one though. After all I do frequent and stay at an artist colony in Brown County, Indiana. I believe you are not far away from that part of southern Indiana, so you should definitely visit it sometime lass. Artist flock there from all over the United States to paint the landscape. Look it up. I practically live there...oh aye and everybody there knows my infamous worn out bucket hat. 😁 🍀💚🍀

You can't just do vodou however you want. The spirits are particular with what they want, and they don't play. This seems like dangerous advice...unless you don't believe in the Vodou spirits. Talk to a Vodou follower. Their spirits are easily offended. This no rules do what you want is some white privileged western nonsense.

Listened to this for the first time before going to bed last night & found myself astral projecting for the first time. 😮

I have both Backwoods Witchcraft and Doctoring The Devil. I was really interested in reading them because my Dads people came from the mountains of East Tennessee, and my grandpa on moms sides family came from North Carolina to the mountains of Georgia to Western Alabama Mountains. I can remember allot of those old signs. My maternal grandfather he didnt have one day of education because he had to work so his siblings could survive. He went by the signs, and he had what was called superstitions he believed in 100 percent. Daddies family grew up in a cabin with a dirt floor and their were 10 kids in there. Grandpa was from the mountains and he passed down herbal remedies and down to my Uncle who was a 7th son. I loved going down into the mountains to gather herbs to use for medicine and to sell for money. We had heard a story passed down about my great grandpa who was a mysterious man. He met my great grandma when he was called upon to treat her dying mother. My great uncle passed down a story about great grandpa that could only be where he was using conjuring to get rid of a woman who had put curses on the folks there. And my moms Dad said he had a great aunt that had no problem if you did something that angered you would put a hex on you. Hearing these stories growing up I never thought that one day Id be reading these books about the healings and the supernatural things they could too. My family always called great grandpa a medicine man but reading i think that he would have definitely been refered to as a cunning man. And that great great great aunt a mountain witch. Or a granny witch. Grandpa said his grandpa was afraid of her because of her abilities. He said she lived alone and was one tough woman that was not afraid of anybody or anything. I had this belief that bothered me that took form that all forms of conjuring even those rituals that were done for good. And i was happy to find out from the book that these old timey healers and such were devoted church members and used verses from the Bible and the psalms to do their works. And the fact that the good magic was not condemned. I know my family back then rarely had the money to go to a doctor. I got passed to me the saying to "blow out fire." I have never had to use it as of yet but i keep in my Bible. And i have to the blood verse written down also. I thank Mr. Richards for bringing to us the folk magic, healing and signs, i thought were long gone like those family members. I hate how technology and advancement in all areas have made people especially the younger generation to forget who they are. I remember back in school teachers were always telling us, what the correct pronunciation of words were and talking "proper." Most all the teenagers back then DID NOT want to be identified as a Hillbilly. And i miss the way those old folks talked. People in other sections of the country often laugh at the way we talk. Our laid "slang" way of talking we have with each other. What they dont realize is most of us know exactly how to say words properly and put them into sentences.

I would love to be able to complete this. Sadly, I have aphantasia. Which means I can't visualize. My brain just isn't wired for it. One of the hardest aspects of being a witch for me.

PS - there are also interlibrary loans if your local library doesn't have a book or the ability to acquire one. It seems like "shadow work" is a big part of the dark fluffe marketing trend in Pagan books and resources. Here are a few books that I recommend for shadow work: "Feeding your Demons" by Tsultrim Allione; "A Witch's Compendium of Shadow Magic" by Raven Digitalis and "Shadow Dance" by David Richo ( the journal prompts can also be tarot readings).

I have the out of print books, having officially started this path in 2003. Am guilty of Amazon purchases, but often purchase through llewellyn and won't even look at anything from temu or wish despite being on severely limited income. Gotta say I have a soft spot for signed books, so will probably be looking at a copy of modern witchcraft in the future from Deborah. Great interview
