Uncle James toured the family around the firehall near our house this past September. We all had so much fun, seeing the truck and testing out the Firehouse and seeing Uncle James in his element at work. He was a very good tour guide!

This was such a relaxing and enjoyable week away, I felt so recharged afterwards. We had a blast, sleeping in and acting like children ourselves. Life is way too short to be serious all the time. Watching this video back, it's a great reminder that although Darren and I are very much in the thick of parenting together right now, we also know we are still best friends without the children around...

Our first official Mother-Daughter trip since becoming a mother myself. After 4 years of not having one of these trips, we brought it back with a super quick weekend to San Francisco to see Ed Sheeran perform in Santa Clara. A record breaking audience count for the stadium, even higher than the Superbowl and Beyonce and even Taylor Swift had performed here just a few weeks prior. Well done Ed! ...
