Is it easier to tie braid directly to your mono line without the extra swivel? Seems like the extra knots would provide addifltional weak points.

When it slows down out of muskegon towards the end of June we will run out to 300 ftw and fish blue and chrome spin doctors with blue flies in the upper 50' and will do very well on the chromers have even caught a handful of bigger fish on this setup with 1 evening bite ending with a female steelhead weighing 21#s and male that was just over 24#s wish I could get the picture off of Facebook

That's a great video guys, I do float fish for Salmon and Steelhead with a spinning rod but its small shallow rivers, on your case wouldn't make more sense to use a slip bobber? I know if ain't broke don't fix it but it would be a lot easier to cast (my opinion)

I have had way too much trouble getting T-sticks to run true...seems like most will pull to one side or the other. Rapala shad raps are my go to!
