Very good talk and great information. I look forward to more of these🙏👍
Great and very informative from two very well educated Dr.s. thank you! Very helpful
I been waiting for so long to hear some good news
Where can we get the gloves
It’s definitely not for everyone! I had DBS surgery in January this year. It was nothing but a nightmare.- everything got worse.! Now they are trying to programming it.- No positive effect yet. Maybe I should be more patient. I’m still having hope . For now I can not recommend it!-

what do you mean by PUMPS?
Is this the study that is mentioned at around 3 minutes 20 seconds? If so, the presenter has spoken incorrectly. The study which she seems to be referring to does not have anything to do with mucuna. Rather, the study is comparing outcomes in patients who begin prescription levadopa therapy either earlier or later in their disease progression. Brain. 2014 Oct; 137(10): 2731-2742. Published online 2014 Jul 17. doi: 10.1093/brain/awu195 PMCID: PMC4163032 PMID: 25034897 The modern pre-levodopa era of Parkinson’s disease: insights into motor complications from sub-Saharan Africa
This is the best thing I’ve listened to in ages. More frank honest discussions please! And yes it is an art at this point. I hope someday I am not the canvas🙃
We appreciate your feedback
Wow!!! I really agree with you. shakinginmyboots1 - I just had DBS done.- only negative experience yet- but still some hope- maybe some more programming?- hope just hope- Unfortunately they’re not telling everything before surgery. Honest and open discussions like this are very rare! Mostly commercials from Boston -Abbot etc.-
(0:46) Hilarious! Asshol*
QUOTE "this is the management of Parkinson's among specialists like ourselves is an art ... .... there is no wrong way to do this " UNQUOTE Yes, I've heard that premise - every PD patient is a trial, is an experiment with some amusement (for the specialist) thrown in. Nice to be so entertaining, eh?
😃😃 awesome event guys!
Thank you!

Cue1 could help some. It is sad people have to resort to making vibro-tectile gloves at home...
The globally accepted view is that Parkinson's Disease is caused by loss of Dopamine producing cells in the brain. Accordingly majority of current treatments involve giving synthetic dopamine and research is focused on increasing the production of dopamine in the brain. Against this, Dr Tass's approach is focused on manipulating the synchronisation of neurons in the brain. Does it mean that oversynchronisation amongst the neurones is the cause of PD hence the vibrating hand gloves are designed to manipulating this synchronisation and talks nothing about dopamine. I would like to know how is this deficiency addressed by Dr Tass's vibrating gloves therapy,
the japanese are working on releasing gloves in japan,to bad it is taking forever getting this out to the united states!!! let's go millons are waiting
This video breaks my heart. DBS is allowed right now. "They" don't completely understand why it works, but surgeons are allowed to cut into peoples' heads and stick rods into people's brains and zap it. They tell you, there is no guarantee that this will work, that you won't still require medication, and you have to have repeat surgeries to move the rods if they aren't put into the right location, you have to replace the batteries with some models. The possible side effects are brain bleeds, seizures, infections, possible more surgeries, and more. There are several companies that have produced competing products and they keep improving them. Now they have the ability to help lots of people without making people take a pill, and doesn't require you to go into the hospital and have them cut your head open and place rods into risking all sorts of awful side effects, in fact this video states that they have not seen any negative side effects so far. But they have to study it more for a couple of years? Reminds me of the movie "Lorenzo's Oil"
Does the glove necessarily have to have the vibrations rotating from one finger to another or is a glove with all fingers vibrating at once still likely to have a beneficial effect. Because I have one of those already and wonder it is going to improve or make symptoms worse.
If this is really true, then it’s Nobel Prize worthy! If the test results were that positive, why not open the floodgates?
The wait is becoming endless.
Pl bring it earliest. Expedite it so that it is available within 1 year.
When will the glove be available to try/buy ?
The million dollar question 😢
Sorry, but in my opinion, this is a scam. You would think that's with so many patients the esteemed doctor would have many other videos with success stories of the tactile gloves on PD. Yet All we see are the same five-year-old videos being replayed over and over.
Not so it is good science.
I agree. I hope the gloves work but Dr. Tass needs to show visible results in some new patients if he wants to be taken seriously.
I disagree, I’m building a pair for my Dad, multiple UA-cam videos show the gloves being successful. Don’t give up.
I seriously doubt that Stanford University, one of the most prestigious schools in the entire world, would associate themselves with a fraud product and allow it to be presented to every major news outlet in the country. They care WAY too much about their credibility.
If you google Stanford gloves Parkinsons ....they give you many examples
Does the glove have any effects on energy levels and posture?
