I don't think people remember how GOOD the Trailblazers were in 1990. They were"ABUSING" the Lakers, Suns, Jazz,Rockets and Supersonics the entire SEASON!! I was actually afraid for the Pistons going up against this team!! UNdefeated at HOME the ENTIRE season,s when they won Game 2,it seemed Detroits' goal of winning back-to-back titles was FINISHED!!

I grew up in Iowa in the 70s, parents were avid Lakers fans, and i liked the Celtics. Then Lary Bird happened, and a rivalry was born. After Bird came Michael Jordan, i soon became a big fan of the Chicago Bulls. If Michael hadn't left the NBA, chances are the Bulls would have made it 7 straight. We will never know? I stopped watching the NBA after 2000. The game changed so much from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, i found i lost interest. Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for winning the 2024 NBA Championship, it was a long time coming.
