Baby Teeth are a British alt-rock band, formed in 2021. Locket Purser (Vocals & Bass) has been an ever present member of the band, being joined by Dan Roberts (Guitar), with Ben Thompson (Drums). They started gigging around their local music scene in High Wycombe and instantly found themselves gaining a following due to the energy of their performances.
Their sound has been sculpted by a wide range of musical influences. From the Alice in Chains to The Clash, Johnny Marr to Wolf Alice, Arctic Monkeys to Royal Blood, and many other acts have all played their part in the music they play and write. It is that music that has seen them opening stages at festivals around the UK in 2022, with more to come in 2023.
2023 also saw the band release their first material on streaming platforms. The White Van Demos feature 2 songs, with driving guitar riffs and lyrics about the injustices that many people may feel in life.

Baby Teeth - Never Over - Windmill
Never Over, stripped back to just guitar, bass and vocals. It was very different to play in this way and really made Lock's vocals shine through the mix. Would be intrigued about what our audience thinks about this version, we certainly enjoyed doing this.
Definitely a bit more unique and from the Rebellion Festival preview gig that Loud Women put on, recorded at the Windmill in Brixton. Ben's absence was only a temporary thing though and he is back with us already.

Baby Teeth - Too Cool - Red Lion Drayton

From our afternoon in the sun at the Red Lion in Drayton, thanks to Jamie at Skittle Alley music. First time we put up a recording of Too Cool. The sound was perfect that day and we hope you enjoy it. We've also been in the studio recently, stay tuned for big news from that.

Sorry, we've been a bit bad at getting some new videos on here. We'll correct that today though with a performance of Never Over from the Engine Rooms gig for Project Rift on 18th Jan 2024. It was great to return to The Engine Rooms, where Ben played his first gig in 2023. We're due back there soon as well, so make sure you follow us on the usual socials to find out where our next gigs will be.

This was recorded by Nick Sheppard, from the audience at Pub in the Park in Marlow, as the band opened the main stage. The sun was shining and Dan decided it was too hot for a top, as we ended the set with a firm fan favourite. It was the perfect end to one of our best performances yet.

With another slot at Pub in the Park in Marlow coming up we thought you would like to see a recording of our original song "Nihilist" from 2022. This was only our 4th gig and very different from anything we had previously experienced as a band. This was also the first song we wrote and performed as a band, something we're quite proud of.
