Can’t wait to get back to Port Alsworth! I think I arrive on May 23. Can’t wait to see Landon and maybe if you guys will allow me: get back on the Odyssey again with him to jump off. Hope all is well with your family, Nina
The local economy is entirely made up of travel and tourism. This is where the Lake Clark National Park headquarters are located. We are off the road system here, (only way in or out is flying in small planes through the mountains and glacier passes) so all the locals here are involved in one way or another with the NPS, travel, or tourism.
Thank you! It was all filmed in one day. It is impossible to cram all the beauty and adventure of Lake Clark into one day, but I think Evan did a really great job of putting it together for us. If this is something you are interested in, fill out the contact us form on our website at LakeClarkAlaska.com and we can discuss putting together a truly memorable trip for you.
It is cold and refreshing. That's part of the fun of being able to say you swam in it. Of course you can always take a hot shower and drink some tea afterwards. This group was Alaskan though so they just dried off.
