How did you put it back to where it goes?
I just did it, it was a real pain in the ass. But i solved by screwing the internal part with central screw to the arm in the chair and then fix one of the spring, surprisingly it didn't come out and then I screwed back the outside cover. But the arm still does that illegal 360, for which I don't have energy to open it again.
If they made stuff in the USA with better bolt hardware I'd be willing to spend more. Just saying
I cant find the screw on the armrest to remove the top cover can you please help?
I'm honestly not sure what I can do to help, unfortunately! I'd say find another screw that would fit and try that

Same happened to mine and my friend's. It is absolutely infuriating! Chair is barely 8 months old 😑 Also the threads on the seat become exposed when sitting. Edit: I fixed it the same way that Numba9Large suggested and I got it fixed in no time. Screw it to the arm first, place the pieces, place the top, and then screw it together from underneath.

okay so im currently having this issue with my boyfriends chair, i did the same and put a popsicle stick in there but its almost like the screw still doesn't reach down into the arm rest and keeps popping off what am i doing wrong here 😩

The way I had the most success doing it is screwing it on first without the top part of the armrest or the springs. Then adding the spring and top
I'll have to keep that in mind if it ever breaks again! That does sound a bit easier🤣
That's how I just did it and it worked really well! Had a little trouble getting the two middle screws back on, but as I slid and moved the arm rest the screw holes became accessible and everything worked out. Here's hoping it lasts!
