I know I post a lot of Album-in-progress songs, but I do plan to stop sharing (as much) once I’m halfway through with it. That way there’s something new to hear when the album’s out and finished. 18 songs which are taking me a long time to produce in this world we live. Thanks man! That’s one of the first times I’ve had a real drummer play on my solo stuff. I usually either do them myself, badly, or use MIDI. My interface only allows a single mic, but it’s been a fun limitation recording Andy’s drum set that way

@@Shmookcakes I actually changed that line from Phil Elverum’s version. He says “I can’t believe you made your parents cry.” It’s a big reason I wanted to cover it, because I wished he said “I saw” instead lol I think it hits way harder
@@joestack1921 It's such a tender line near the end of the song, it stuck right out when you sang this modified version. I think the original is sadder but your version is more fair and feels more right to me, having lost a friend before
