The most destructive event in the universe: Gamma ray bursts
The video delves into the awe-inspiring phenomenon of gamma ray bursts (GRBs), the most powerful explosions in the universe. It begins by explaining how these bursts are unleashed when massive stars collapse or neutron stars merge, releasing a colossal wave of energy that briefly outshines entire galaxies. Viewers are taken through the journey of how GRBs were first discovered by military satellites in the 1960s, sparking decades of curiosity and scientific inquiry. The video highlights the two main types of GRBs - short and long - and explains the cataclysmic events that cause each. With visualizations of jets streaming from distant galaxies and animated depictions of the light-speed particles radiating across the cosmos, the video captures the high-energy phenomena and their impact on our understanding of the universe. Finally, it touches on the implications for astrophysics, including how GRBs serve as cosmic beacons, revealing secrets about the early universe and distant galaxies.

    The human understanding (representation)of gravity, is sad. No wonder the species is stuck to the ground.

    • @stewiesaidthat
      @stewiesaidthat День тому

      I always wondered that. Why does the scientific community treat the earth as a stationary frame? Once it was realized that the earth is in motion around the sun, gravity should have been relegated to the flat earth dustbin. So why wasn't it? It's simple really, Newton's F=ma defines an infinite universe with no cosmological center as theorized by Giordano Bruno, who was subsequently burned at the stake. Then there is E=mc. Acceleration creates energy. What then creates acceleration? The Bible refers to a creator god and of course, an infinite universe is beyond the comprehension of primates. Look at how they struggle with pi. When you only take a portion of what's left of the pie, you never consume the whole pie. Thus, Pi stretches to infinity. The primates think they are so clever in calculating Pi out to 40 trillion decimal places.

    In sudoku make 1 equal and range of possibilities from all the possibilities in a single sudoku cell. This implies so many 1’s per adjectent row column and subgrid and you can compare your 1 assumption or multiple 1 assumptions at once against other groupings upgrading the data where applicable until the grid is solved or you run into a conflict (too many 1’s in a row subgrid or column discovered) and you may be able to solve sudoku in p time.
