“My old band “that statue moved” opened for echo In 90 and ian was a true gentleman and my singer hero. I remember talking to the drummer. They let us use their sound system and it was standing on a rocket so powerful my bass sounded so beautiful. It was surreal. They were always my favorite band in the 80s and to open for them was an honor. They actually watched us play and complimented us after. What great guys. Their sound man was even cool as hell. Cool to see they are still on the road.

These guys used to run a clubnight in LA called "cloak and dagger" - they tattooed staff and customers, led them through initiations rituals where they divulged intimate details of past traumas, then were sexually assaulted by the bands' friends. There's a full write-up about it in the LA times. Weird really, after twenty years of writing the same r*pe anthem over and over again, you would've thought someone would've listened to what they were saying.

What an absolute tune - still sounds great...

On the one hand Cheap Trick sounds tired and worn but on the other hand, I would still like to see them open for a good act. Cheap Trick has always been a great opening act they just need to be hooked up with the right band. I have seen Cheap Trick open for Kiss, Iron Maiden, and a few other acts and they have never disappointed.

I kove Cheap Trick , but just like a lot of bands from the 70s ,80s need to hang it up. The vocals are showing wear and tear. It breaks my heart to say it it. 💔 ❤ CHEAP TRICK ! 🤘❤️😊

In my opinion The Breeders should have been opening for Belly.
