Dustin's Dynasty
United States
Приєднався 6 чер 2020
Hello, my name is Dustin and I have Autism! Since being diagnosed at the age of 14, Many said I wouldn't graduate High School, I did! Many said I wouldn't go out of town and be successful in training. I exceeded and overcame that obstacle Many said I wouldn't have a steady job. I've been employed for over ten years now doing something I love. I even took some time to earn an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Web Publishing a few years back from the local Community College. I received the Leadership in Recovery Award for my county by the behaivoral health Mediaud insurer for exemplifying someone who has been there and done that. Presently, I am Facilitatior of our county's Community Support Program, Chairman of the Fayette County Advocacy Network Governance Committee and do much more. I believe that attainment in some maintainable life is possible for each and every individual on the spectrum
305: Embracing Differences...For Real
In this video, I explain how it is important to be cognizant of differences within and outside of the various spectrums (autism, disability, etc.) That is more important to be mindful of your own needs and care for yourself as necessary.

😆 "Promo SM"
You able to explains things very well.
Thank You :)
Its so hard as a parent or friend to give unwanted feedback. There comes a time where the person with autism needs to fall down before they realize for themselves what they need. Good for you for accepting when you need help and growing and learning what you need to live your best life. Proud of you for moving forward and taking responsibility for yourself!
Thank You! It has been a long Journey, but 2024 looks to be much brighter
hope ur doing well happy holidays
You too!
really appreciate your talks. they are very relatable, and give me comfort.
Thank you for your insight. I am struggling with a solution, but i relate to what you said. I had to stop going to the op shop, even though it gave me pleasure. It is at the point i cannont enjoy what i have because i have no space to function.
YW. It gets better. Within time and help I have gotten to the point where I am able to maintain a clean apartment on the daily and I love it so much! Wishing all the best for you!
My editor wants to know if she can use some of your words in her writing for book 2?
Yes, of course
Yes, of Course - Let me know about the release of book 2, would love a read.
'Promosm' 😅
I have a son who is 41 and has Autism , he has limited verbal skills , could you share what helped you learn to communicate so well , or what helped you overall . I would appreciate any advice , or opinions. Thank-you
Well I must say that I didn't always communicate on this level. It was acquired over time, I will complete a vlog on the subject later this week, stay tuned. I always appreciate feedback from my viewers. Thanks for your support and patronage
Thanks my friend. You have been a real help.
Glad to hear it!
Hi, your channel showed up in my algorithms and you are REALLY good at this! I think you're going to take off soon!
Wow, thanks!
Please keep doing topics like this, it hardly gets touched on even in autistic communities
Agree...Thankfully, I have loving parents who have always to this day reinforced me about the outside world!
I used to have boxes full of carton packages until my sister said “why the f do you keep these?” And I got rid of them
your discussion topics are always so specific, it has helped me identify my feelings/cognition about my internal frustrations. Thank you so much for your content
You're so welcome!
I like your background
Well they do say denial is not only a river that flows in Egypt
Are you a MAP?
Absolutely not
You need to lose weight.
This is a wonderful video. Thank you for making it.
Thank You!
What music do you like?
NuMetal from the 2000s - Linkin Park Chevelle, Limp Bizkit, things bizkit
Have you ever been prescribed psychotropic drugs?
Yes, I have been on them since 1999. Beginning in 2024, I have made be taking my physical health more seriously than in the past.
If anyone wants there is now readings of the book on my channel. One which shows the book pages one that doesn’t.
Thank you so much and I’m so glad you liked it. I actually did finish a bachelors in psychology but that didn’t get mentioned. I can make sure that it is mentioned in the second book. I have a whole other book in editing that is more about the social skills and I can mention it somehow. I do counseling every week now and I’m so glad. It used to be something unaffordable but with blue cross for broke people we can get it free or almost free with programs I’ve seen. It has been a great help and has been great for my relationship too. Sounds like you found the book another way then my channel, just reading random asperger books?
Just from a search in Kindle was how I came across it. but I came across your channel beforehand
@@dustinsdynasty awesome! I’m so glad that worked.
I have an irrational fear of balloons!
So do I, still today! You are not alone
