I just wish they (Perrin) would subdue their logo or make it smaller and less visible. I get it, you want to let ppl know who made it, but the way Perrin does their logo, it detracts from the actual piece...
Can you guys do a video on the right way to adjust ride height on coilovers? There is so much conflicting info, with lots of respected companies saying that coilovers without an adjustable lower mount are cheap.
We're going to put together a video on that. Many (not all) coilovers with adjustable lower mounts did it that way for cost saving reasons...and use the same damper for different cars since they can just thread on different lower mounts. Good coilovers without adjustable lower mounts are essentially pre-adjusted to the right length.

Estre and Alonso are the best wheel to wheel combatants I've ever seen. What they both seem to have a gift for is calculating exactly where they're going whilst also calculating exactly where their opponent is going at the same time.
Alonso, Lopez, Estre, Palou those are the goats on overtaking others, these dudes have a special talent
Also, I hated the RT660. I could cook them in a couple laps and I got 4 days out of them, they were dismounted and flipped after 2 days.
The play seat Challange works great, you can actually fold it up with the wheel and pedal attached, I hold it together with a bungee. The issue is when you upgrade with a stouter pedal setup, the pedal base shifts around a lot. GT7 in VR is awesome, most people are a touch slower in it but the immersion is much better. I find I learn tracks 10X faster in VR. It will make you motion sick till you get used to it. The first time I used VR over the corkscrew, I barfed 😂

Bought a VB a few days ago to replace my VA STI, so super interested in the mods they do.
What are your thoughts compared to the sti?
@@MichaelSiguenza-p2w the VB in stock form is more of an appliance. I would say it is an upgrade to the VA WRX, but a large downgrade from the VA STI. The engine is fantastic though, better than the STI in my opinion. Power everywhere. It doesn't pull timing/power like the STI and you can tune the engine extremely cheaplynfor power. It grips well. Steering is not very communicative and far too light. Shifter is far too floppy, but clutch is nice and light I would put it in the ease of driving category of a Golf GTI mk 7.5. no drama, just goes. Gears are short and that redline is a pain in the butt. I haven't really wrung it lut though as only at 500 miles ish. If you have a healthy STI, I wouldn't swap. I will say, I have not once bogged down like I have with the STI.

Kojima san, PLLLEEAAASE keep up the written content on MotoIQ. UA-cam is great (especially your technical content... the hardcore people like me love it!!) as well but material like that chassis 5 part series needed to be written for someone to digest over time.
Any comment on the coilover setup? Spring rates?
RCE Tarmac 2's with 400# springs all around. I think they may have been a bit soft, especially with aero, so im up to 500# square. May not be the best way, but it feels consistent and balanced so ive stuck with it.
