Installing Shimano Deore Brakes on my Nukeproof Scout
Took the time to finally install a budget friendly 4-piston Shimano Deore hydraulic brakes. No riding, only install unfortunately. Although its finally cooling off, so riding should be happening again soon.

Repairing my broken E-Flite A-10 RC plane

Because the heat wave is out of control, this week will involve staying at home and fixing the Horizon Hobby E-Flite A-10 Thunderbolt II 30mm EDF that I have been putting off. Although I only replaced the fuselage and Nacelle, I will link replacements for the rest of the a/c. As you never know what could break for anyone else. Yo I have a 2022 creaky crank help 🛸
@@loudalways4144 maybe the bottom bracket? Random guess
I imagine the fun driving Manual coz I enjoy applying engine brakes for stop even in automatic😂😂. I don’t know driving Manual😢 but will learn soon and buy Nissan Versa In Manual😂

I'm late! the M6120 are a great bang for the buck. I have that, the M7120 and M8120 I barely notice the difference
I had considered magura brakes for once, but i still have this giant bottle of shimano brake fluid… So, shimano it is!
yoooo, is that a Crosstrek?
Believe it or not, you’re the first to get that right.
Then why did you get a manual? Why complain? It’s cool no matter what
I just keep it in 2
Anyone who did this themself, did you transfer the old crown race off the recon to the new fork? Trying to figure out the easiest way and to buy the least amount of specialty tools to make the swap myself. I have the same bike. Was gunna order this fork, and upgrade the front brake.
I used the crown race that came with the bike. You can always pop the recon off and see if the crown race has a gap in it on one side. If it does, you won't need any special tools to swap it over. Its just been a while since I did this, and don't remember myself.
@@RomansDowntimeI successfully did the job easy. Ended up buying some low cost but good reviewed tools on Amazon. Super simple. Now to look into some brake upgrades.
@@JoshuaDomoslai Nice bro, theres no shortage of good brakes!
I just acquired this same bike and I wanted to know what rear wheel you used? The bike I got came with the wrong wheels on it.
I’d like to switch over to the wireless set up
I went with Sram AXS, for the set-up. I went with a GX Eagle cassette with a XD Hub on my Crankbros synthesis.
Hey man, I have the exact same bike 2020 hawk hill 3 even the same color can you run me through what I need to order as far as part numbers and info
I have two cars a 2015 vw Jetta tdi and a 1931 ford model A. Granted the A I need to use second to climb some hills, I can stay in third down to about 7mph (about 285 rpm) without any issue. In that car first and second are pretty much off road/starting gears. The Jetta is similar with 236 ft/lbs of torque at 1700 rpm and with great torque down to 1000 making 6th useful from 35 to 130 mph. And with its 5500 rpm redline 2nd gear is good from 8 to 50 mph as long as you don’t mind the engine cursing you, your name and your offspring. So to be fair to all the manual owners out there, if you have the right car/setup no road condition is harder with a manual.
What glue did you use. I am thinking epoxy, but I am not sure if it is foam safe. I hate to use CA, but not sure what the alternative would be. Silicone glue? Thanks.
@@irritatedrhino8552 foam tac, or UHU por
I used foam safe cyanoacrylate. I pretty much as my local hobby shop and thats what was recommended.
Hey it’s a great fork from rock shox I just got the 140mm travel gun metal color ones and am installing them on my Santa Cruz tall boy at the moment they are sick forks love them happy trails out there Brother ❤💪
I thought 1 neutral 2? u can go 2 from 1 immediately?
I have the same thing too
Me too I got one yesterday
My bike came with with an integrated shifter/brake combo levers. Im looking to replace the brakes with hydros since its mechanical but I dont have much hope finding a well branded set of hydro brakes with levers and calipers around for my model, so im sorta forced to get some after market ones. The shifters are different story though ive managed to find some afforable thumb tap shifters that are well branded.
@@matthewdavidson9472 been a while since I saw a bike with “brifters” (brake and shifter combo). I was never a big fan of them to begin with, but I thought it was a neat concept. You shouldn’t have to look to hard to find affordable replacements at this point so thats always a plus
i want that but i have no money
@@TheBananaMan971 its a neat toy i’ll admit that. Probably not a “must have” though
@@RomansDowntime understandable.
@@TheBananaMan971it's $60 at Walmart
@@animatronicdude I went inside the store and it cost $30 in store (this was not even a week ago). Make sure it’s actually being sold by “Wal-mart” and not another seller online on the website, it’s a common practice and they usually include mark-ups.
@@RomansDowntimeI think they probably lowered the price down? Because when I got mine it was $60 or you might be talking about the baby blue one oranges could be the animatronic T-Rex but they lowered the price down
liked and subscribed, nice informative video on the mini 2se
In my case I drives manual everyday in Russia.
is the steel carbon 1095?
Love my crankbros wheelset with i9 hub
sounds like someone who shouldn't be driving a manual lol
Don't moan about it dude. Manuals are the best - it IS cool that you drive stick. LA traffic is the worst in automatic or manual.
🤣🤣🤣
I don't know... Shifting up and down, even continuously, is what makes manual shift driving a joyful and entertaining experience. Drove both, manual and automatic, I choose the manual transmission.
I just bought a manual car and driven it about 3000 miles so far and just yesterday realized there is a third pedal. The shifter doesn't make that loud noise when I use the pedal. Do you think it will be ok?
Your going down mountains in 1 and 2 ..bruh..
2nd and 3rd are best for mountains because of the engine braking. You don't wanna ride your brakes the whole time going down a mountain, easy way to wear them out and overheat them
@Killbayne that's exactly what I was thinking. Bro stressing his engine in 1 and 2
I have the Gestalt X10, really wanted the XR, but it wasn't in stock at the time I ordered mine and it's a lot more money! The only thing I really don't like about the X10 so far is the brakes, they are kinda terrible. The slack geometry and wide bars are great though and coming from riding mountain bikes it feels natural.
Last year's XRs are on clearance. I am tempted although my original goal was to look for carbon bike with AXS.
It’s funny you say that, because I was almost sold on the X10, but I had a bad experience with a cable actuated brake. The stronger hyd brakes (and dropper) are what convinced me to just spend the extra money. I’m glad I did, because I don’t feel it needs any upgrades at this point.
Great looking bike! Can i ask how tall you are and which frame size you chose for the 275?thx
Thanks bro, it’s a Large and for me being 5’10 it feels perfect
@@RomansDowntime awesome, thank for the reply, triyng to dial in which size i would need just in case i will ever get my hands on a frame which seems nearly impossible right now :) a bummer what happend to the company
Then stop driving manual and leave it to the REAL DRIVING ENTHUSIASTS they never complain
The thing is that especially UMX planes are very de-fun to rebuild. Bigger planes are much more fun wrench on
Thats was the feeling I was getting doing this. Couldn’t help but feel it would have been more fun if I was taking screws off and putting them back on, Instead of dealing with glue, lol.
good work
Thanks 🙏
Did nobody mention how the music looped?
It doesn’t loop, although it does sound like it does. So I don’t blame you for thinking that. ua-cam.com/video/39pbFow9gzg/v-deo.htmlsi=DfUa6n9vIZHICR7N

Judy is more XC, Recon is a trail fork. From what I hear, i personally never used a Judy so 🤷
grow up as a man.
Thank you! for the preview of the upgrades man, planning to buy one of and tryna get some ideas on how to upgrade it.
I drive a stick in Boston and I approve this message. What’s a “3rd gear”?
bro the feet is the worst part of going through traffic. I got stuck in traffic for 2 hours and I was straight up sore the next day.
It's not really that difficult try doing it arizona heat in traffic with no ac then you can complain
Drove and worked on semi's for 20yrs , 10spd,13,18, more gears the better , throttle control and proper traffic spacing are the skills to build. Manual gives better fuel mileage and better power control. AUTOS ARE FOR OLD WOMEN And children!
