The insurance alone on a waterfront home is double what an upper middle class family can afford in total housing cost…forget the ridiculous prices of the homes and the Wall Street grifters driving the prices through the stratosphere…A serious correction is coming and buyers will be in the driver’s seat. Keep your empty houses at your 6% interest rates, crazy property taxes and see if you find renters to cover your costs…pigs get slaughtered and the market is growing hungry. 2025 = 2007, lots of people will be meeting Jesus.

The problem is a ridiculous price property and insurance .

When you see a home on UA-cam that doesn’t say or show the price, it’s a scam!!!

I don't know if this is a joke or not but Florida is among the highest in cost of living. The cost of living in Florida is 1% higher than the national average. Housing is 2% higher than the national average, while utilities are 3% higher. When it comes to basic necessities such as food and clothing, groceries are around 2% lower than in the rest of the country, while clothing costs 2% lower. Compare that with Mississippi which has a cost of living 17% lower than national average. Median home prices in Ohio are 172,000 dollars for a four bedroom, two story house. Yearly hurricanes, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Mexico all within spitting distance, as well as a hot (not humid) environment makes Florida one of, if not the worst state to retire in. It USED to be much cheaper back in the 60's and 70's and was highly sought after for retirees but now it has become an overtaxed mess which has in turn raised the cost of living and made it such a terrible choice. New York is no better with their MUCH higher taxes but most people forget about the north east. Maine is a truly beautiful state, very few like it in the nation, or alternatively you could go the other way and go to Washington which also has very beautiful and unique views. Florida has palm trees.

I did lien and tax research and it's wild what goes unchecked by the city/county. Even more wild is their solution some times. "A permit for an entire addition wasn't finalized 20yrs ago? They need to redo the work and get new permits." Yeah it's not a pipe it's three whole ass rooms haha
