Hey guys! At around 1:57, I said "thyroid-releasing hormone" for some reason, but I meant to say "thyrotropin-releasing hormone". Sorry about that!

Hey guys, I meant to write and say OXIDOreductase, not OXIOreductase (for complex one, complex two, and complex three)...sorry about that! Also the oxygen receives four electrons at a time (during the end of the ETC where complex four gives its electrons to the oxygen).

Hey guys!! I realized I was saying "Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-BIphosphate" in this video, however, I was meaning to say "Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-BISphosphate" (because the phosphates are right next to each other on the fourth and fifth carbons on the Inositol). Sorry about that!!!

Hey guys!! At around 9:40, the efferent neuron is leaving the ventral gray horn of the spinal cord (even though the picture makes it seem like it doesn't....sorry about that, I should have drawn the picture a little better!).

  • @learnatundergroundscience

Hey guys!! At around 3:17, I realized that I should have drawn the lower motor neuron downward instead of upward (because it would have better represented the fact that lower motor neurons exit the spinal cord from the ventral gray horn). Sorry about that!!

Hey guys!! At around 20:08, I talk about why Cr has a 4s1 3d5 electron configuration. However, the reason I was talking about was just a way of thinking about it. The actual reason why Cr has a 4s1 3d5 electron configuration is because in this exception, the 3d orbital wants to be a half filled orbital (5 electrons out of 10 total electrons). And same thing goes with Copper. In the Copper exception, the 3d orbital wants to be 100% filled (10 electrons). Sorry about the confusion (because the way I talk about it, I make it seem like that is the reason why the exceptions occur, however, that is just a way to think about it)!!

Hey guys!! At 2:29, I drew the 4s orbital above the 3d orbital to show the increase in the principle quantum numbers, however, specifically, the 3d orbital has MORE energy than the 4s orbital (which is why we fill out the 4s orbital first when we follow the Aufbau principle). So, I should have drawn the 4s orbital below the 3d orbital. Sorry about that!!!

Hey guys!! I don't know what happened during the end. Sorry about that!! I will be putting out a video on the pauli exclusion principle. We will look at examples, but as for the definition, the pauli exclusion principle says that in an element, no two electrons can have the same four quantum numbers (meaning at least one of the four quantum numbers has to be different). So if you were drawing your orbital diagrams, for example, you wouldn't put two electrons in the 2s orbital, lets say, as both +1/2 spins or both as -1/2 spins. It would have to be opposite spins.

Hey guys!! 1. At around 5:15, I wrote "gained two hydrogens" in orange trying to show that FAD (in orange) gained two hydrogens, but it may have seemed like I was saying that Fumarate gained two hydrogens.....sorry about that!! 2. At around 5:16, I said that "fumarate" lost two hydrogens, but then I wrote it under succinate!!! (I don't know why I did that loool). What I meant to say was that "succinate" loses two hydrogens. 3. At around 5:26, I don't know why, but I forgot to put an "s" at the end of hydrogen, so my bad lool! 4. I meant to write and say OXIDOreductase, not OXIOreductase (for complex one, complex two, and complex three)...sorry about that!

Hey guys!! In this video, we used CTT as our DNA strand as an example, however if you look at other sources, you will also see CTC being used as the DNA. It turns out that CTT and CTC will eventually lead to the same amino acid which is glutamic acid! I just wanted to use a different example to show that we will still end up at glutamic acid. The thing to take away though is that the glutamic acid amino acid becomes valine because of the mutation in the DNA. Also, near the end, I mentioned that people with sickle cell anemia are usually resistant to malaria. To be more specific, if that person is heterozygous for sickle cell anemia, we see that they are usually (not all the time) resistant to malaria.

Yoo guys, at around 9:26, I said that you make around 34 to 38 ATP in the electron transport chain, however, now research shows that you produce around 28-32 ATP in the electron transport chain (around 4 ATP in glycolysis and Krebs cycle and around 28 ATP in the electron transport chain) .....sorry about that!!!! At around 12:45, I wrote "pyruvate" instead of "pyruvates"......sorry about that!!! Also sorry about the weird background sounds in this video!!!
