funny car, like an angry beetle😀
I guess optimization is not what developer try to do now, back in my day this kind hardware can give me 6-7 year gaming and productivity, but with so many bloatware from OS and not optimize game this hardware lifespans probably 2-3 years at the best.
totally agree
У меня точно такая же сборка,но процессор не нагружает видеокарту выше 50-60 %,помогите мне.Может дело в биосе?можете дать ваш биос?ссылку на биос
I have a ryzen 5 3500U, 16gb ram and a 2gb dedicated, will these games perform better on my system😅
It should run smoother, although I don't have that exact setup so I can't say for sure
the AI voice is so annoying, either you use your own voice or don't put any
Using my own voice will make it even worse. I'll fix it later, just give me a chance, bro. 😅
I love this game. There are not that many cool co-op games.
"Makes it unplayable", by broke self who only cares that is runs😂
lol
my second favorite co-op game after It Takes Two)
Very cool device, I think it will suit absolutely everyone
Wow 😮 Thanks for the video
Appreciate it!
really good solution for storing your data and ensuring its safety
I agree, it's a great solution for data storage, especially for Mac users
Have you compared it to Synology NAS? They have been on the market for years already. How do they compare with this new NAS?
I think this one is better priced than Synology. It has better hardware and a bit better look imho
It's interesting to see how many frames a game like "The Medium" can produce on this hardware )
stutter in Graphic Card amd ?
I didn’t even know there was a modern delta force. I played old version many years ago. This one looks good though.
ram 1x16 or 2x8?dualchannel?
dual channel, 2x8, please take a look 00:04:12
It looks durable, like real gym equipment.
I played "Colin mcRae Dirt 2" on a computer with the same specs.. also Need for speed Hot Pursut works great on this computer, even on linux.
And probably all games that came out before 2011..
oh, I didn't know that NFS works on Linux
@@edgy.channel I installed via Bottles.
Atleast 🎉 its good for me😊
Nice video, thanks for all the work. I have this same chip in a HP 255 G7 though mine is running with 16Gb at 2400Mhz. It would be interesting to know how much difference higher clocked RAM would make to the iGPU performance however I'd still imagine it would struggle on the newer games regardless.
The GPU may not hold well in most modern games that came out recently, but boy the CPU could handle most daily task and video editing (up to 720p) pretty well... . . . Also cool benchmark
thanks, I agree. just would like to take a look at this config in the games.
Could you test delta force?
Yeap, will test soon.
This video makes no sense. Of course 11 year old CPU cant handle this. The performance would be the same if you had a 4090.
There are still a lot of people who use hundreds of variations of old Xeons, often paired with GPUs like the RX5700XT. I agree with you that performance might be better on the latest AMD or Intel sockets, but the tests in the video are just my case of what you can achieve with similar configuration.
try i7 3770 it stii kicking in 2024
I’d like to try, but don’t have it at the moment.
My first laptop. Love this old machine❤
new necro review... lol
NecroEdge channel))
Wow, the HD graphics is soooo bad it cannot run games 10 year older than it at steady frame rates over 30/60. It's junk, I don't get why you said it can make a fun retro gaming PC when it is hard to have anything worse.
Thanks for the comment! Back in my childhood, I think I played all these games at 20-25 FPS, and it felt totally fine to me. So, when I run these games on an iGPU like the HD2000, it brings back those nostalgic vibes. :)
Impressed to see how hd 2000 able to on par with GT 210, while UHD 770 and Ryzen 7000 2CU iGPU have struggle to keep up with GT 1010 GDDR5
This is a great idea for parents with children.😊
I recently bought a walkie-talkie to communicate with my son when he is outside. It's a very useful tool and chipper than phone 👍
I bought it for the exact same reason
I'm still using an i5 2400 as my office and media machine/server (5800X3D for pure gaming). Fast enough for everyday tasks, browsing and even video playback up to 4K, albeit in combination with a spare RX 560 I had laying arround. Sure there are more power efficient ways these days to get this kind of performance, but the sandy bridge CPU's weren't that bad in that regard, especially if not under full load, which rarely happens even on those older CPU's on an office machine.
during some time, I’ve been working on a PC based on the Sandy Bridge cpu as well) it covered all my tasks)
Bro this was our family computer ages ago. I couldve swear our system was on ddr2. Oh yah, My dad still uses the computer to this day with windows 7. haha
Nah it was DDR3 already, still use sandy bridge today in my daily driver, albeit with Linux Mint in order to have a still relevant and updated OS platform.
I'm sure you can find a $10-$20 DX11 gpu that can be a huge upgrade. R9 270x for example
UGreen cables aren't that great, so you might want to get a usb-c cable from another brand.
It is true. I had to buy another brand
by not great, do you mean the cable speeds or durability?
@ In my case the cable was loosing contact. There was no such problems with the same port (before and after) when I've used high quality cables. However, it was not the same device that in the video.
Hello bro, a question, can I use some fragments of your video to add to mine? I will promote your channel if you want 🤠
Hello. Yes, use them, just leave a link in the description for original video. Thanks.
Thanks bro, don't worry, everything about you will be in the description 👌
Damn thank you for the test I have 5700xt, so I probably have stutter due to CPU being way too old for this job (6 cores 6 threads)
I suggest it will be more stable after first patches and you could play on high setting at 1080p.
@edgy.channel Oh yes, already loaded that popular mod for fixing VRAM crashes and stuttering + graphical changes to increase fps It helps to gain like 5-10 frames and reduces most of the stuff low end card from the past gen are afraid of Just have to say that on low the game consumes exactly 7.9/8 gb of ram for 60 fps, tested myself and it works just fine without any problems Thanks again :]
Most people who bought the 5700 XT right after it was released paired it with the Ryzen 5 3600. (Including me) So it's expected. I'll be grateful if I can play this game at 60 fps with my 5+ year old PC.
I tried an i3 330m HD 1000 and it only works for 720p h264 videos, I tried minecraft and it gave 40fps with everything on low, windowed mode and 2 chunks 💀
Wow, you did that at lightning speed! I asked you yesterday about the stalker test, and I have it today. I respect that
Hope you enjoyed it!
I think its a resize bar because of your mobo and old xeon
game looks promising
Странно, на моей 7700xt выдаёт 81fps
i was thinking that the sandy bridge generation has an intel hd 3000 graphics, hd 2000 was a half-cutted hd 3000 and had a terrible performance back there..
Still gaming amd beast
Big blunder with that 5200mhz
I would appreciate it if you could add an FPS meter above the game. Love this game. GSC saved the old atmosphere. It still looks scary, much more than Fallout 4. I'm curious how well it is optimized to play on an old machine
Sure, I will try to do it in a few days
not classic not retro not vintage
What were you expecting to see here? Mario, Street Fighter III, and Pac-Man?
I still have a desktop with an i5 - 2500 CPU and 16 Gig RAM. I must admit with Win 11 24h2 things have slowed down a bit.
4 cores and 4 threads nearly in 2025 is just to slow, 8c and 16 threads is a must, to have enjoyable pc for just basic stuff. And you get a Ryzen 1700x 8c 16t plus mainboard including the fan for like 50€, ddr4 ram 16 gb you get for like 25€ and a new nvme from gigabyte 20€. For 95€ you geta system which has more 4 cores and 12 more threads and you will be safe tor the next 5 years, easily.
@@ibobeko4309 I don't know about that. My core i5 6600k is plugging along quite nicely with no issues.
@@ibobeko4309 8 cores is definitely not a "must" maybe in 5-10 years.
@@IsntGwen for internet and casual gaming you need 8c16t for somehow smooth experience.
@@darkprinc979 4 cores and 4 threats are to less in 2025.
The first generation arrandale series processors are perhaps even more suitable for retro games, without dx11 support, but specifications they have great indicators in the speed of texturing and filling mpixel
nice vid bros, pls test hd 4000) or even better - compare every old integrated gpu from HD 2000 to 4600 - im sure it will be usefull for chosing retro setup)
Thanks! I’m planning to test HD Graphics 4400 soon. The laptop’s RAM is running in single-channel mode, which will definitely bottleneck the performance. Anyway I’ll make the video in a few weeks.
