I wish I had recognized the "ladder" of cages that each feed into one another. I started by just pencil-marking most of the cages and looking for eliminations, rather than examining them collectively like Clover did in her solve. My time today was 5:06, solver number 1468.

(bill can stop reading now) first mistake you did went unpinished, i'll leave that as an exercise for the keen-eyed viewer. the actual finishing mistake was placing a 1 in r3c3, presumably by ruling out a 3 by being in german whisper mode and not dutch
