I'm interested in buying your lesson (video) and tab. Are you playing your advanced or intermediate example in this video? I like to know which one to buy for I like the example you are playing. Love the song and the way you play it. Thank you for the video and chance to buy your lesson.
Hiya Jene. The version in the video here is a bit of a mix. It starts with the less advanced stuff and then moves into some of it later. There are even a few moves towards the end that aren't covered in the advanced tab (the big chord shapes for example). There's also the video lesson available (which includes both tab downloads) so that would be a good place to start. Hope that helps!

This is EXACTLY how I want to play the banjo. I know it's clawhammer style but I never heard it played like that without having the "bum ditty sound.! What technique is this called that you are using? Not using the Bum Ditty technique gets a Like/Subscribe/Bell
Thanks for your comment @deltafour1212. As you say, this is very much clawhammer banjo. It's pretty melodic, played with a quiet 5th string and also in 3/4 time - some things which maybe give it that sound you're talking about? I live in an area where there isn't a lot of old time music going on (it's mostly Scots/Irish trad) so that probably has an effect on how these arrangements turn out (for better or worse!)

Many of these tunes I sell tab for so I try and keep at least one go round of the tune pretty close to the tab so folk know what they're getting.
