I honestly find these two to be really toxic for each other. Or at the very least, Caulifla is toxic for Kale, at least at the point of the show I am at right now (Ep. 101). For one thing, Caulifla constantly pushes Kale to do things she doesn't really want to do, and Kale goes along with it because she is so enamored with Caulifla and wants her approval more than anything else. Instead of making Kale feel okay for not being able to do what she can do, Caulifla holds that pride and approval behind a gate: She pressures her to be a warrior, which is just throwing fuel on the fire that is Kale's inherent feelings of insecurity and inadequacy. Caulifla doesn't seem to be entirely aware of how Kale feels about her either, or if she is, she just chooses not to reciprocate those feelings openly and directly, which is at best inconsiderate and at worst totally leading her on. Caulifla is also totally reckless in regards to Kale's physical and emotional wellbeing - she pushes Kale into transforming by triggering her jealousy, sending her into a state where she is as much a danger to herself as everyone around her. Kale's rampage could have not only gotten her disqualified, but it could have gotten more of Universe 6's team rung out as she was literally attacking everything that moved. And what does Caulfila do after Kale comes to from that rampage? *She eggs her on* , telling her how awesome she was when that whole stunt could have cost them the tournament and could have ended up with Kale hurt or even dead. I'm sorry, but that Caulifla bitch ain't worth it. Find you a woman who actually sees you and appreciates you as you are instead of treating you like some putty that needs to be shaped into a different form.
