Unedited FARA Track Day Event at Homestead Speedway 11/23-24/2024.
We took the Grasshopper out for testing and all cooling issues were under control. The car ran great.
We finally were able to rev to redline and maintain full boost on the long straights. Robert spent working on his technique and keeping his lines clean for the rest of the weekend. Had a great time and learned so much. FARA host an awesome event, FARA HP Academy and their Super Lap Series. If you have never try it you should come up and check it out. Friendly and very welcoming atmosphere.

Here is a video of Sunday’s run. We were only able to get two laps until the track was black flagged due to an accident. On Sunday our car had clutch master cylinder issues. Our friends from WRXperts (Juan & Ron) dropped by and gave us a hand. Juan was able to get it working for the second session which the video you are watching. Session 3, the clutch master failed completely and we were done....

With the long hours of setting up the suspension, a new tune, and a alignment the work has finally paid off. The car is now more predictable and Robert is getting more confident. As he gets more seat time he will be able to push Grasshoppa to it’s limits. Funny thing is Robert has only driven the car 5-6 times. Update: So we started the day with data logging and lean cut issues. Mr. Lance Holung @tunedbylance took care of that. Faulty wide band sensor probably due to the rain we encountered at Subiefest. Changed out sensor and back at it. Made a clean pass and did a 12.4 in the quarter mile. Coming back to the pit we notice coolant is blowing out of the reservoir. Received the new Garrett that replaced the Master Power 6564. Since Precision was back ordered on the 6466 I decided to give Garrett a try. Garrett 3582R T4/ V-Band Outlet .82 A/R. Turbo installed and coolant line to the turbo plumbed.
