I saw this movie when I was young, and it was the scariest thing ever. And I remember being very disappointed that the movie just ends halfway through the story. Now when I see the movie, I see a lot of rotoscoping over seriously over-acted footage. Nazgul's horse for instance: gorgeous. Nazgul's limp: very very over-acted

I think it's funny how they bothered rotoscoping the ring wraiths mount chilling and eating the grass

The way he walked around creeped the hell out of me. This is really well done to give the feeling that this is a sick and unnatural creature who is a former shadow of theirself… The noises he made were a bit silly though

Personally I love this movie the watercolour backgrounds and the eerie sky colour create such an uneasy atmosphere and the music whoever composed the soundtrack is absolutely amazing!
