The Sophie Hood was my Christmas Cast on. It'll be bright yellow and I'm like 1/3 of the way done. I wanted to knit the scarf but I'm glad I waited for the hood cause it's more useful to me here in VT. I have a bunch of Knitting for Olive in my cart but might have to get some Gepard Pura lana since you talk about it so much. 😂 As always I love the podcast and your beautiful knits!

I want to learn how to steek and knit Brioche knitting. I want to knit a lot of color work cardigans but don’t want to knit them flat. My motto is to become a fearless knitter. Knitting is hard. But with practice every thing becomes easier. Can’t wait to see what you knit in 2025.

Your knitting looks perfect, you knit fast and if I remember correctly you knit from the original pattern language. oh that cardigan looks so great on you! and the dress is perfect underneath! your hair and everything looks so cool, you are so good at putting things together... when I get dressed sometimes later I realize the things I chose dont work well together at all and I look kind of frumpy, so I admire those that know how to put clothes and everything together! your knitting is sooo perfect, your garments look excellent!

omg i'm glad you mentioned that about the moby sweater. when i first got into it, i was so confused and stressed about having to remember all those steps while starting the back panel. then i realized that i could just follow the chart lol

Great episode. Liked getting to know you more. I think I have been watching since your first video, maybe the second, and you have become one of my favorites. In regards to the question about how you get to do so many sponsored test knits, I think you have just about everything that both a designer and a yarn company could want. You take great photos of your finished projects, you show them on different social media platforms (UA-cam, Instagram, Ravelry, etc.) where many others will see them, you generally meet the test knit deadlines, you are not the average size so others can see how the pattern looks on real people, and your knitting is beautiful. Who wouldn’t want you to promote their products? ❤

I totally agree, if the pictures of a pattern look to much like a fashion shoot or aesthetic moody light style, it feels like a red flag 😅 I get the impression there has been too much work put into it to make it look good that it makes me question why the finished knit can‘t do it by itself, like what are you trying to hide 😱 on the other hand I love looking at vintage patterns where the pictures often are so grainy that I also don‘t know what am I even looking at, but I love those 😅

Hi Joyin! If you give a class on getting gauge and knitting to fit I will take that one as well! I know you've only been knitting since 2021 but I've been knitting for nearly 18 years and you got me beat on knits that actually fit me!

this is my first video on your channel, I had it opened for a couple of days before watching it, when the introduction ended i literally GASPED like you look so pretty omg I wasn't prepared!!! And awesome video!!

I know this is MONTHS late, but if you’re still looking for a totally black mohair the knitting for olive mohair in licorice is jet black and you can’t see the silk strand. I’m knitting with it right now and I was worried about the same thing but ended up pleasantly surprised. The black dye must be high quality because you can’t see any white at all.

I love that you include pictures as you talk about your knits and yarn. I wish more podcasters would follow your example! One day (when I've worked through my yarn pantry ...which is very well stocked) I hope to try some of the yarns you love so much 😊
