It's between this and "Changing Of The Guard" for me. This song features one of my fave riffs of all time, it's just crushing. Love Zetro's vocals on this one too, they're just savage! 🤟🏻 COTG has my favourite Gary Holt solo on it, though the H Team's lead work on the whole album is awesome. Definitely one of my main influences in making me want to play guitar. ❤

I think most of American Idiot is played in E Standard. Style wise, I think it fits more with 21st Century Breakdown. The Italian overtones makes it stand out on "Warning", but "Peacemaker" off 21st Century has Mariachi influence all over it, so those two songs on the same album would make total sense.

Unfortunately, I only own 5 Venom records, and "Cast In Stone" isn't amongst them. 😔 I did have MP3 files of that album on my old computer, but no longer have them since it broke. That particular song is great, and I'd love to do it. And I'm sure I will at some point. 🤘🏻

Yeah, it is great! I bought the digibook edition on release day, and it didn't disappoint either. 🤘🏻Jeff...yep, his skills are god tier, trying to play Annihilator songs is tricky to say the least! He's got to be in my top 10 guitarists, he's incredible. 👌🏻🎸

I've had "Invite It" from that album on my "to do" list for a few months now. Was the same with "Punctured" though which I finally got around to doing last night. lol Problem is, the list of potential songs I'd like to do is practically endless, there's far too many. It's incredible how intense and heavy it sounds in this tuning! Just further proof that you don't need to downtune to sound heavy. Sodom have so many underrated songs, and this one would have a much deserved place on any "Best Of Sodom" compilation. 🤘🏻

Generally speaking, I prefer original versions over remasters, but some remasters are really good, the one for "Til Death... being a great example of that. Love those songs...F The Police is a punk anthem, sheesh! lol No Way Out and Frozen Screams, love those too, and their killer cover of Hazy Shade... is a banger too. You'll never see me uploading anything off a Megadeth remaster though, they were horrendous! haha 👎🏼

@@Sara_MZK likewise I’m usually an Og advocate however there are certain tracks slap harder remastered, And oh well how can I forget them tracks I really love that album it’s like a testament on how good Sodom is tbh consistent af as for megadeth them remasters are a HELL NAAAAH it’s kinda depressing considering how different and awful they sound compared to OGs but oh well we can’t always have nice things in life, still waiting for you to officially own some Demolition Hammer records I genuinely think you’d enjoy their music, think of them as slayer cranked to 300, although funnily enough they covered postmortem I bet you can still find the footage on UA-cam it sounds amazing 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿

Woah, requesting something off "Til Death Do Us Unite"? I know quite a few people love to rag on that album, but I love it, it's just so underrated! They do, but that happens to everyone who replaces someone in a well known popular band, especially if it's the frontman. I got into Sepultura via the "Arise" album, and saw them twice live with Max, so love all that stuff. But in time, I became real fan of Derrick too. Most of the songs on "Roorback" are bangers. 🤘🏻

Ah, don't sweat it. lol 👌🏻It amazes me how many people subscribe to me, then don't bother looking through to see what I've uploaded. Most of my older videos have the same amount of views now, as they did within a couple of weeks of being uploaded, when I had about 5 subscribers. 🙃😂 I think Divine is very underrated record, I love pretty much every song on it. This one has always been my fave though, the combination of Jeff's music with Tom's lyrics was always a deadly combination! 🤘🏻

I felt if just 1 or 2 people enjoyed what I was doing, then it would be worth it. lol Over the past week or so, I got back to Sepultura, and was going to upload a couple more songs by them, one from the Derrick Green era. Just too many bands and songs I'd like to do, so it's very easy to lose track sometimes. 🤷🏻‍♀🤘🏻

@@thegemini8535 I haven't listened much to Tankard tbh, even though officially, they are recognised as part of German Big 4. I guess I've always treated them as a bit of a novelty act, though even that doesn't explain it, as I love Lawnmower Deth, and their stuff is exclusively humorous and silly (though some of their music is totally killer!), so I dunno, I really need to give them a real go, I think. Doesn't change the fact though that Paradox are terribly underrated, and deserve far more attention and love than they get.

Yeah, they are wonderful! And that captivating lead riff after the verses (and in the chorus) is so sublime too. 👌🏻This was the first Xentrix song I ever heard, and it's still my fave out of their many great songs. I get really misty eyed listening to it sometimes. lol 🤘🏻

I don't own every Malevolent Creation album, but I do have most of them, and you're in luck, I do own "Warkult". lol I've actually been debating with myself for a couple of weeks now about possible songs I'd like to do from them, and "Dead March" is one of them. However, I've always thought of that song and "Preemptive Strike" as being one song. With "Dead March" being like an intro to that one. So I'll do both of those songs together. ⚡

@@thegemini8535 Well, you'll be glad to know that not only do I own it, but it's actually my fave MC album, and was intending for my first MC upload to be from that album, until you requested "Dead March". My debating myself over which songs from "Retribution" to do, is the reason I still haven't made any. lol Pretty much that whole album is a collection of death metal at it's finest. But rest assured, I'll be doing at least a couple of songs from that record, and one will be in the near future. 🤟🏻

Haha! 🙃 Yeah...I never expected to get hundreds of subscribers, and I know most of them are because of my metal posts, so I don't post much non-metal music, even though I love most types of music, including lots of video game music. I actually own the Limited Edition Castlevania SOTN with bonus soundtrack CD that's in the picture I used for this upload. :) Love that game, and the music from it. I never knew there was a Super SF 3... but I do love Guile's classic SF theme, as well as his theme from the overlooked SF EX Alpha game.

@@Sara_MZK oh likewise I’m not stuck to a single Genre of music, I usually listen to whatever the hell I enjoy, on the other hand video games music is generally good depending on the game tbh. I’ve been a huge fan of most guile’s themes throughout the years they really nail those 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿

@@thegemini8535 Don't get me wrong, I do love metal very much, and it's my fave genre of music, probably because it is so varied, with so many genres. I love lots of video game music, and also music from films and tv shows. As for Guile's themes, yeah, I love them all. Sometimes, I'll try and prolong matches on his stages, just so I can hear more of the theme music. 😂

Yeah, I already had 3 songs done before I did this one, so I wasn't intending to make it so quickly. But when I heard it, I just had to, it sounds so killer in this tuning! Unfortunately, I was in such a rush to make it, I forgot to do it in HD. I think that only affects the visual though, and not the audio, and it sounds fine, so I'll probably just leave it. lol Glad you enjoyed it! 🤟🏻

I was originally going to do Lion's Den as my next Morbid Angel upload after Where The Slime Live. But after putting on Rapture and seeing how great it sounded in A, I just decided to do that one instead. lol Lion's Den will be the next MA song I do. At some point I'll see how some of their faster numbers sound downtuned.

Haha, fulfilling a request before it's even asked for, I love it! Yeah, those riffs are deadly...and Alex and Eric shredding the solo... Eric's sounded more haunting in this tuning I feel. As for Paul, well... any drummer picked to replace Dave Lombardo has to be amazing. Love that little double bass run he does just before Chuck sings the final line, it's might not seem like much, but it adds even more tension to the ending! 🔥

@@thegemini8535 I thought it sounded really good in C Standard (not so great in C# though!), buy the sweet spot for my ears was B, and E Standard it sounded killer to me in those tunings. Just finished uploading it in B, hope you agree that it does the trick. ⚡

"South Of Heaven" was the first album I ever heard, where the drums really stood out to me. Before then, it was all about the guitars and vocals for me. That album made me truly appreciate the drums as being a vital element in a band's sound. Dave Lombardo will always be my favourite drummer for that. 🥁🔥
