Hoka Tecton X3 Review
In this video, I will be giving you my initial impression of this amazing shoes. I have been searching for a shoe that is well cushioned, propulsive, light, and with a gaiter. Thanks to the trail gods they heard me. Bear in mind this is my first Hoka shoes and the first time I took this for a test run. I will do a follow-up video as I put more miles on this shoe so please look out for that. In the mean time enjoy the video.

It felt like spring for a second but we’ll take it any day. It has been raining and we got a good break enough time for a short ride. Anyway, he was surprised that the cheeseburger has 2 patties and he is now hooked. Thi...

BEST TRAIL in Vacaville / Browns Valley Open Space Aerial View / Hiking / Gravel / MTB Trails

This is our neighborhood trail located in Vacaville, Ca. We use this trail on a regular basis and it is a few steps away from our house. This is perfect for hiking and mtb/gravel bike rides. The trails are technical so I would not recommend this for new riders. There are plenty of thorns as well so highly recommend tubeless setup. You can easily do 10-20 mile loops here. If you have not ridden ...

Hello everyone. This is the 4th and last episode of our El Nido Trip. We wished for a better weather but we bumped into a Tropical Cyclone. Good thing is that our boat was big enough and the coast guard gave us safe passage for Island Hopping. Please stay tuned because next episode we are going to Japan. Thank you for watching and as always be safe and see you next time.

In this video we finished visiting all the remaining destinations in TOUR D. This is highly recommended by Ape Tours because it is less crowded compared to Tour A (Most Popular Package). In Tour D you can see that there are very few crowds most of the time we get the islands all for ourselves. We did not wait for a long time to enter small lagoon and we did not worry about fighting for a spot. ...

      Thank you for the comment. I really didn’t intend to purchase a fake one nor even try one. I have nothing against because I have tried fake items and it is never close to a real one. Nike spent time to engineer the air pods and carbon plated along with the zoom x foam and that cannot be copied. Fake ones are getting really close but not quite. Also if I use it then I wouldn’t be able to return it so I wouldn’t even waste my $200 for a video. If you would like to try them yourself I would be happy to share you where I got it and maybe you can do the comparison review. 😊

      Volt is 🔥 but for the Vomero I tried it but didn’t like the upper. In terms of durability yes that thing can last longer I would say. You also get the zoomX midsole same material they use on the Alphafly. I would say for daily trainers they are not bad. I would recommend the invincible 3 or the Pegasus for daily though!

    Thank you for this. However, it would’ve been nice to show how you pack the rear derailer and manage the chain back there because that is the hardest part for me.

    • @thequalityadventure
      @thequalityadventure 2 місяці тому

      Sorry that was not shown but what I did was wrap my chain stay and removed the derailleur and taped it in the bottom side of the chainstay to avoid if from scratching the frame and the chain from moving too much. You will need to tape the chain as well to the chainstay after you wrap the chainstay to avoid it from flopping arround. Everything has to be tapped tight and avoid frame damage. Next time I travel I will do a shorts video ☺️

      Sorry you had an unpleasant experience with scicon bags but for me, for the price it is worth it. It works as well since I have integrated cables I didn’t have to go through the pain of dissembling or bleeding my brakes. So to each of their own. This is based on my situation, bike setup, and budget. Just sharing my experience and recommendations. Basically as a human we can decide on our own, you would either ultimately use that recommendation or not but you still decide if this fits your needs 😊

    Hey Dude, nice video. I'm a far bit older than you are, but also an avid cyclist looking to preserve my bones as long as possible. With that in mind, I'm curious as to whether you're riding tubeless on your graveler? I recently switched to tubeless on both the gravel and mtn bikes, and I noticed a BIG difference in "cushiness" from just doing that...since you can lower air pressure without creating more drag. I JUST got my suspension stem and will be installing it today. Everyone says they "get cushier" after a short break-in period, so I'm sure you'll notice that too. Take care and keep at it!

    • @thequalityadventure
      @thequalityadventure 2 місяці тому

      Yes I ride tubeless because the trails here have thorns and I used to get flats a lot when tubeless was not even a thing. You are right you can run a lower tire pressure with tubeless setup. The rubber cushion in the stem can wear out the good thing is that it is replaceable. Thank you for tunning in and take care as well 🤙

    I bought this same bag about 6 years ago and have used it a few times with no issues. I would recommend not putting the gear bag inside the bike bag and instead pack it into another checked bag if possible. The reason is that TSA in the US will definitely open up the bike bag and they will likely take out the gear bag out and go through it. This gives them more opportunity to lose things. I had a friend that had a few items missing when he traveled with his bike and ended up having to buy new parts before we could go riding. TSA likely forgot to put them back in the bike carrier when they were done. All I pack in the bike bag is the bike and the wheels. Pedals, tools, shoes, helmet, etc all go in other luggage (don't pack tools in carry-on as they will likely be confiscated). To protect the frame more you can get foam pipe insulation of different sizes at your local home center and use them to wrap the front fork and rear stays. The foam comes pre-split down the length so it's easy to slip on. While not necessary, you could use some zip ties to strap the foam to the stays/forks. If you go that route, bring extras to repack on the way back. Lastly, I loosen the handle bar, rotate it down and then snug it back up. This moves the shifters more out of the way to protect them from impact. Just assume the bag will be dropped along the way at some point so best to move things to areas that will protect them more. Same reason that the rear derailleur should be removed from the frame.
