Hi, I have two questions. What is what you have over the hi hat and second what hi hat stand do you have. Awesome video👌Also which sabian hhx hi hat is it?
That's some percussion thing I found in a music store. I thought it looked cool so I placed it on the hihat but it doesn't really add anything to the sound. The hi-hat stand is some entry level Tama (don't know the exact model) and the hi-hats are 15 inch HHX Groove hats with a 10 inch Zildjian ZBT splash underneath.

@@datool1108 I used a combo of Guitar Pro 8 for the PDF, and then Soundslice for the sync. I just uploaded both of them: Normal Version: ua-cam.com/video/v8QJ4oDM26Y/v-deo.html 4/4 Version: ua-cam.com/video/es7TGSarWos/v-deo.html It was interesting because I had originally transcribed everything in 4/4 since that's how I felt it, but after putting it into 11/8 the bars make more sense, but I uploaded both versions just in case someone wants the other one.

Yeah, in the first half of the video I accent every quarter note on the bell, basically playing 4 over 11 😂 I did that on purpose to make the 11/8 sound less abrasive and more familiar. I noticed a few extra ghost notes in the notation that I could never play at this tempo and some 32nd note (I think) triplets were missing but other than that your notation is super accurate. Thanks man! I'm sure your transcription will help some people out. Grooves like these are super beneficial for independence and worth practicing. Cheers! 🍻
What is an 11th note
There's no such thing as an 11th note. What I'm referring to in the title is that the main beat is in 11/8, and on top of that I accent every 3rd 8th note (in the second half of the groove). We end up with a 3 over 11 polyrhythm. Hence the title '3 over 11'.
