No air from dash vents FIX Grand Marquis Crown Victoria
Car had no ac from the dash vents. I couldn’t find a leak and when I checked the vacuum supply inside the car there was very little. Not enough to move the actuators. I traced the issue back to the check valve and replaced it. Works fine not.

DIY Cabin Air Filter Replacement. This is for a 2013 but the process should be similar in 2010-2016 models. Note the direction of the arrow on the old filter (if visible) and install new filter in same direction.
Lexus RX330 Cabin Air Filter Replacement

DIY cabin air filter replacement. This particular car is a 2006 RX330. The filter I bought was an inexpensive one so I imagine the more expensive filters fit better. Quick and easy install.
Would this be the same part needed if air only coming up top instead of thru vents? My air literally only comes up thru defrost top
Thanks for the video.
Just started mine today after two years in the garage. Replaced the fuel pump and filter. Started right up. OBS will never be OBSOLETE.
Have this exact same issue, but the only difference is the air comes only through the defrost vents
What year is this?
All the while black plastic vacume line broken at fire wall
This saved me today. Thank you so much! So easy! 😂
Any idea why not locking in place ? Went into neutral but not going back to park
Removing the pin should put it back in park. Be sure the slot where the pin goes is all the way forward. Otherwise there may be an internal issue with the trans or the neutral override cable itself may be stuck.
Thanks for posing, very helpful :)
Glad it was helpful!
mine is stuck blowing through the main vents. I think it may be ice build up though, so ima hit it with a heat gun. Thanks for the vid, first one ive seen that gives me something other than "dont set you knobs to off"
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for showing how to replace the filter. It looks easier than i thought. Gotta get me a new filter now and go thru the process. Gr8 job
Thank youuuu, from a single silly chick ☺️
Thank you! Now what do you do when the air is only blowing on your feet and won't change hahah
hey yeah I’ve had this problem, turns out for me it was the AC blend door actuator that was faulty
I agree with the other comment. Could be a blend door or faulty AC control panel also.
Where would one find this part
Rockauto probably has it
I’ve always gotten them from the dealer. It’s pretty cheap. Like $10-12 where I live. Maybe google the part number and find one online.
Just what I needed Good looking bro 😎
Would this be the same on the 1990 5.0 crown Vic
I don’t know.
Thank you for this video. It helped me.
Thank you ❤
Great video short and to the point
Great video thanks that much crap in a year WOW 😲 I waited to long !!!
How often should this be changed out?
He stated one year or 15,000 miles
Thank you! I have the exact issue with my 2011 Crown Vic
Glad it helped
Do you know where the INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR is located on a 09 Grand Marquis?
Should be part of the MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor located near the air filter
Did u figure out why it doesnt start have the same issue with a customer car atm
In my case it was a bad starter. No idea why it threw a trans fault. Maybe the customer tried to crank it too many times???
holy shit this is it. floor vents shallowly blow air thru i can feel it and all the blends acuating but no air to the dash
Hope this video helps
Thanks man
How do we know you put it in right side up? Wasn't there either an up arrow or can air flow direction arrow on one edge of the filter element? You didn't let us see it!
I don’t remember. Look for the arrow on the old filter and install the new one in the same direction. There are times when the old filter doesn’t have an arrow so you have to reference the service info to determine the correct orientation. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for posting. Good info. I had a customer complaining of poor a/c cooling. I checked the static pressure and then the high/low. Everything looked good there. Should've checked the filter first...lol. Totally clogged. BTW, I have those exact floor mat paper covers. Pennies a piece and the customers appreciate that little extra.
They certainly do. The cabin filter is often overlooked, I have missed it several times too!
