I am Richard @CowboySurvival. I am a guy with a lot of life experience and an interest in being prepared for unexpected events.

In March 2020, tornados hit a neighborhood less than 2 miles from my home, killing 19 people, including a close friend of mine. If that had been my neighborhood, I would have been totally unprepared to assist my neighbors during the time we would have waited for the emergency response teams.

When you prepare, whether it is a Go Bag, a Get Home Bag, or even a Home Fire Evacuation Plan, you will greatly enhance your family's chance of survival. Being prepared is always better than not being prepared, and it can be amazingly affordable and simple.

I hold a PhD in Business and have a lifetime of experience in the outdoors. My goal is to share what I have learned about life to an audience that also believes that true survival must address the mind and soul, as well as the body. My motto . . . Be Prepared!
