Hello Ladies. We have been homesteading for 4 years. We have sheep and plant veggies and are also a gay married couple (10 years). Our property is just over 1.1 hectare and 1 km from the Orange River and live in Kakamas.We have a few mangoes, oranges and peacan trees. There is even grapes for making raisens. Where in South Africa are you?

Thank you for sharing your no-discard approach to making sourdough starter. I can’t believe how many people think you need to discard half every day. I guess there’s a lot of folklore around making a starter and not as many evidence-based recipes.
