Fixing rain shower to hand shower mixer
Had a rain to hand held shower mixer fail. Asked a plumber about this and his response was you'd need to replace the whole thing. Found a similar mixer down the shed and low and behold, when dismantled, the valve was almost identical. Swapped out the valve and now it works!

Making caravan tank straps

This is how I made some water tank straps to hold a 62L water tank under a caravan I'm building. There's a slight art form to using a bender like this. Trailer Chassis Rotisserie

The rotisserie idea seems to work. I have made the rotisserie stands far too light but it works. I hope it doesn't fail. This video is for entertainment purposes only. If you choose to do something like this, you do so at your own risk as this has the potential to injure you or worse. Having a safety support method is something I highly recommend.
Beginnings of trailer chassis weldout

Finally starting the welding out of the trailer frame. I kept the chassis connected to the engine hoist for safety sake. I do not particularly trust my rotisserie supports at either end. Trailer Welding Sequence

Discussion about the sequence of welds when welding out a trailer. I am no expert but these are just some of my thoughts about how I am planning to weld out my trailer chassis. There are plenty of experts out there who know far more than me so if you are contemplating doing something like this, I recommend following their advice and not mine.
U3000 cannot register

Extracting a bushing

Made this little brass bushing extractor. Works a treat. Made a potentially difficult job easy. The bushing had to be extracted prior to welding out as the heat would melt it. It had to be in there for alignment purposes. The wide diameter of the brass is 21mm, narrow bit 13.5mm, overall length 65mm with the narrow bit, 20mm long.
