I have been looking at UA-cam videos of condos, apartments, and homes for months and the City Garden Tower is by far the the best (for the money) I've seen yet. I'm hoping I'll be able to find an opening when I arrive in about 9 days. If it's as splendid in person as it appears on video, I'm moving in.

Rubbish, the best located is @ Sea Residence & amazing is the Wave or Hard Rock Hotel . Every Pattaya Soi between the Beach Rd,. & the 2nd Rd., have similar hotels !.

There are many more (and better) mid-priced GF hotels with pools in Central Pattaya. This video is like a “glamour” portrait of some of these hotels, i.e., what you see in the video isn’t what you get in reality. The “pool” is one of the amenities that people want when booking a hotel, but many of these pools are nothing more than a soaking tub or a small wading pool especially if it is located on a rooftop. If you’re looking for a hotel with a pool to swim laps, there are a few, but you’ll have to swim laps early in the morning or at dusk to avoid the crowd. The Areca Lodge is a good hotel with two large sized pools. The breakfast buffet is adequate. The noise from the surrounding bars and clubs can be heard in the rooms if you’re a light sleeper. The quality of the rooms vary greatly with the price. The cheaper rooms are in the 2-3 star hotel range which is OK if you only need a place to shower and sleep. The most expensive rooms are much, much better. If you’re going to spend the $$$ for a deluxe room at the Areca Lodge, you might want to consider the Hotel Amber. I stayed at the Hotel Amber last month and I was very impressed with everything the hotel had to offer.

Good video mate. I stayed in Harry bar back 2018. No way the staff were friendly. The wee Thai lady that is in charge never helped us at all.
