That's it? Ok, here is the deal. I love Chemex coffee. I've had 4 Chemex brewers because I keep breaking them. After breaking my last one, an 8 cup with the glass handle, I got a 5 cup handblown. Perhaps it goes without saying that there is no difference in taste between the regular and the handblown but I'll say it: there is no difference in taste. The truth is the brewers don't really look all that different. The handblown is a little prettier but worth double the money? You have to decide that for yourself. I got it because I have a coffee fetish. If you get a Chemex make sure to rinse that thick paper filter with hot water before brewing or you will taste paper. Also note: It's all glass. You will probably break them from time to time. Just sayin'
