Just a suggestion, you may want to practice not shifting for smaller gaps that you can stretch your hand for. It makes it really easier down the line in every single suite.

Remember as you’re leading up to the high G not to get quieter too soon, the high g is the pinnacle of that section so the sound should get louder as you get higher until you finally get to the top and loudest note

Thank you for posting more of your progress, I have just a few comments on this section as well so if you’d like please read through. I really like how you broke the run into sets of 4 notes instead of trying to get all of the notes in one bow, in fact when I performed this piece I did the same thing, however some things to keep in mind that helped me were that this scale escalates as you go up almost to a climax, as such you naturally slow down until the top g, for me I like to play the last 3 notes of that run all separately to accentuate it. Also in that run you can use the time you’re playing the open A to shift up to a 1 on the C sharp so you can play a 2 and 4 for the d and e then you can use the time you’re playing the open A to shift all the way up for that high g. Personally I’ve found this fingering/bowing to be the most fluid and work the best. Then after the run I liked the use of the open d and staying in 4th position however something else I also personally like is right after that instead of going back to first playing the next nots as a F sharp with your 3 then shifting back with your 1 on D this sets you up for a 3 on your D string for that A then back to your 1 on the A string for the D. Right after that you can use your open d string to shift back to first position for the next part. Also it may have been a small mistake but always remember to start that D in mm. 16 on a down bow. Anyways these are just small notes that I personally have found sound best so you can try them if you’d like. Thank you again for posting and I look forward to seeing more updates in the future :)

I’m not sure how helpful this will be but there are a few things I would recommend for anyone playing cello and especially this piece 1. Try bringing your left hand more around the instrument so that your fingers fall more naturally into where they’re supposed to be this will also help you not get stuck when going to higher positions 2. In this specific piece the slow downs are mainly at the turns (like the top notes of a run or the low notes) as such you can take time there but be careful of adding slow downs until you’ve fully got the rhythms down (a goal I like to play at is eighth note=75-85 but tempo is very subjective to the person) 3. The c natural in mm. 26 I’ve found to sound best if you play with your first finger and extend your 4th finger to hit the e and play the next d and c as a 2 extended 1 however much like tempo fingering is also extremely subjective I hope my input helps a bit, and if not you can always ignore this comment. Overall very nice playing and congrats with how far you’ve gotten with this so far
