2012-17 Air intake Temp Sensor Relocation for Arctic Cat 800 H.O.
Переглядів 2,6 тис.2 роки тому
Why is this relocation necessary and does it help? This relocation will help clean up your bottom end as the factory intake will read a different temperature due to it reads the temp at the hood vents and not at the engine intake. This relocation makes sure the temp being read by the sensor is the temp of the air actually going into the engine. The hood draws in cool air and the sensor reads it...

Pro-lite Running Board Installation For Arctic Cat Proclimb
Can you use the stock snow flap?
I used an oil extractor and pulled out almost the exact amount it says to put in, so I’m feelin’ pretty good! 🇨🇦
how do u know if there's things going on inside?
I drilled and tapped a 1/8 inch pipe thread and installed a plug very bottom of chaincase cover, also installed a 1/8 pipe plug above factory check plug, done this on all my sleds, 10 minute flush and new oil 🛢
Great step by step video and putting it back together. Just put mine on and they look great!
Next time you film. How to do it, can you make it to the rest of the world. (Metric System) And mabye better quality.
Buddy make your own video if you don’t like it this was an amazing video if you don’t understand inches then you shouldn’t be doing this
I have a 1985 snowmobile Kawasaki 340 Doze the bond half tack oil
👍👍
that's great video
thx for the vid bro
Syxxes video is way better
Where did you buy it?
How often /miles do the power valves need cleaning?
How often /miles do the power valves need cleaning?
I do mine every 2500 miles
That sled is wicked
put hex heads back in
This install is horse shit. I couldn't get my "screws" to thread in because they were dull like a bolt. So I scrapped that idea and used bolts, washers and lock nuts. Now I have four spare "screws" for my cats hood and belly pan should I need some. 😂
Ya I agree it is fucking horse shit. No explanation on how to take the hood apart and then when you finally get to installing the thing they gave me dull screws rather than the pointed ones like I noticed they’re using in the videos. Thanks for wasting 30 minutes of my life trying to force dull bolts in boys
Been playing around with your kit i bought this year from the wi show for a 18 zr 8000i havnt dialed it in yet..set up pet your directions and was pulling the rpms down...pulled 1 off tip..it is better but still pulling rpms down to 7600..any thoughts on what else i can try..thx
NEED VOLUME
I really hope you can help me out here. So did you cut the wires and hook it back to the plug that goes into the ecm or do you got the wires hooked like a T?
Thanks. That gas tank is easy to take off. These Arctic cat Procross/ ascender models are simple to work on. Very well designed. You mentioned a light weight muffler. Is it quiet? Don't want any noise tickets.
Great video . Helped me out thanks
Thanks
Would you recommend this kit for 8k to 10k elvation? And If so what would you recommend the weights weighing
Very helpful .. thanks for the video
How do you remove the bottom banjo fitting for the oil pump to do your delete kit?
remove the service plate or you can take the oil pump off of the rubber line and plug the rubber line. I've seen it done both ways. we installed enough of them we made a jig on exactly where to drill an access hole in the service plate
What is the secret to get the bottom clip on the upper steering post bushing?
make sure it's completely straight and not turned one way more than the other, some light taps with a rubber mallet won't hurt on top but should be no problem. They should be a snug fit into the base, if it's going in tight, there's something wrong.
@@bdx-ssi2895 I got it thanks!! Love this upgrade!! A must for any cat
How long do these bushings last until its slipped out like factory again?
have had numerous last and still tight since their first install 4+ years ago. really depends on if they take large hits with heavy side load. everyday twisting motion they will last many years but hard hits from the side and they have the potential to dent from the force and may wear prematurely after that.
@@bdx-ssi2895 thanks for the reply! Ordered a set! Getting ready for the season 😈
