Mine is the same problem. Please help me. Thank you
One of mine just started this. Anyone know how to fix it?
Another great recovery. You've saved so many!
Mine is the same problem

Mine is doing the same thing
@@814_Outdoors we went with spartan go live after ours did that , we never were able to get it fixed.
@@tinadonica3668I had a reactor go down last yr and I got a replacement for no cost
Wow, four months. Great job!
Another great job; you've saved so many!
Its the first of the three videos
Ummm.. pointless video! Was the dog trapped? Ugh.. waste my time!
Awe, how sweet. Another great job!
You are a very busy trapper. I wonder if these are mostly lost dogs or stray dogs? Either way, great work!
Wow, a trap savvy dog doing those long stretches. Great job!
Very problematic!! 😂
Nice job, again! I wonder how do you like the tru catch trap, would you buy the same one again? Tnx
We love them. But they do have a bounce that is why we add bungys and a spring to slam the doors. But their strength is outstanding, they have had cane corso beat the crap out of it will nothing hurt. And yes we will continue to buy tru catch.
@@tinadonica3668 THanks for the info. I've had a dog break out of lesser traps, so it is good to see that about the tru catch.
Another great save, you sure keep busy. Props to you.
Another great job, saving a dog from the cold too!
great work
Nicely done saving the dog. S/he looks so scared and hungry. Perfect framing on the video!
Thank you very much!
😢poor dog
He was sacrificed shortly after this video was taken
Owner took her home . Her name was LuLu
You are the best, Tina! We are grateful every day for our own run-away doggie, saved by you and Christina B! <3
Caring, wonderful people ❤
I liked that he for she, was still okay to eat after realizing was trapped. Good sign of not being too Shook Up.
Sweet baby,
Tina, I need some quick feedback please. I stepped up and responded to a lost-and-found post here in my city because no one else would quickly enough which I did immediately because that's what needed to happen. This was about a dog that somehow ended up on an island and luckily I could access by driving there, actually I drove a scooter and turned out to be not a very far walk to the beach, of where he was and as it seemed, he was afraid to go up on The High Ground because of Wildlife I suppose. He was scared and running in opposite direction I'm not sure he was even able to see that I was a human I think he may have just been hearing my footsteps but I should mention on the first night I went there in the dark I was saying stuff like come on let's go, want to go for a ride, hey baby, let's load up and basically phrases that most dogs are familiar with. So after him running away from my approaching Direction the second day in the daytime I established a feeding spot the first week and got him to eat and then he disappeared for 4 days and I'm not exactly sure why so when he showed back up, after 4 days of anxiety and worry not knowing if a alligator had gotten him because this is a alligator infested Island although they are dormant right now. This is on a freshwater river where alligators are most comfortable. And not knowing if someone had pulled up in a boat and he jumped in or if he had fallen ill, or had died. I knew I needed to reach out for help and went back on the Facebook page made a post and help quickly arrived in the form of a male and female experience Rescuers. Requested the help on a Friday night and by Sunday afternoon we had placed a trap 20 ft from the established feeding spot with a trail cam. Within about 11 hours at 4 a.m. he showed up to eat the food fat in front of the Trap relaxing for about 30 minutes. The two people helping me, she is planning on making a determination if he seems scared and looping looping the handle of a leash around his neck and then opening the Trap and walking him through the woods to where the car would be parked which would be about in a range of about 900 feet. So as I am grateful for the help have been letting them call the shots ever if I could do it again I would have made a stipulation of this is the one thing I do not want to happen, I do not want him released from the trap until the Trap is carried with him in it to the car. I realize they may have experienced rescuing as I do too but not so much in the form of rescuing a dog that won't come to us and realizing the detriment of if he gets away the alligators are going to be coming out of dormancy as it's getting warmer here. Plus there are two Bobcats on this island or more. And rattlesnakes. Asking your advice on what I think is a very bad idea. They may have experience and I realize that's good but we don't know what this dog has been through he has just come out of a very long one month or longer ordeal and I'm just not ever one to take a chance in a situation like this. Too many things can go wrong and frankly it pisses me off that they would even think this is okay. What do you think about their idea to release him from the trap and walk him that distance? She says she is planning on going by the determination of his demeanor but me, I don't care if he's rolling on his back like a cute little puppy begging to be picked up, I just don't want to take the chance. I have known of dogs to be happy and all the sudden they freeze up. What are we going to do pick up this full grown Labrador and carry him and quite possibly get bit.
My opinion, my teams opinion we never release until we are inside a structure where the dog can not bolt. So many things can go wrong They freak even if they look like they are relaxed they want to bolt They will or can roll and get away , jerk you quickly and get away. We don't want to set the dog up for failure so we always take the trap inside before opening. You are right in thinking that way.
Also when you trap a animal and they let it out , say it takes off gets loose etc. You will have to come up with a different way to trap them like a missy trap ( ours is a kennel missy) because they usually will not go into a box trap again. So you never want that to happen. You are very right in your thinking.
5 months...his attitude, 'Ok..I'm caught. Might as well eat.'
The crows urged him on ❤
Scary...
Can't imagine why anyone would dump a precious family member. Makes me hope when those heartless humans get old, their family will dump them. And the only thing they remember is the innocent ones that they dumped years before.
1000%
Tina, you save so many animals. You are an Angel yourself. Also have to add, Motormouth Munchie fits in this family perfectly.
Did you put a spring on the 60inch too along with the bungee and the swing arm bracket? When you took the hog tie clips off the door, what did u replace it with?
We use bungy and spring on the 60in and when we clipped off the hogties we did not replace them with anything. If we get a large strong dog that bangs in the trap we check the welding on the screen and weld a little bit if needed but so far we have not had any problems
The hogties seem to be the thing that hangs up the rings as they go down. We removed them and the bungies then can yank the rings straight down fast.
What is the "bounce" you are referring to? Are you referring to a bounce in the door preventing/slowing the rings from falling? I ran a trapline with 40 Tru Catch 48F traps and I never realized there was a bounce.
Its like this ua-cam.com/video/VJs0k9Dtb04/v-deo.html
The older models from what I hear don't bounce , the larger traps newer ones do ( 60, 72) our new 48 folding did when we first got it so we added the spring , bungies and cut the hog ties off and do not have the bounce. Its like the rings get hung up on the hogties on the way down , they do not slide down quick enough and the dogs can get to the door and out before they are all the way down.

How "new" are those traps. But even our new 48f had the bounce .
After we added this in the field in hopes to save this dog , she had been on the run for 2 months very skinny. We didn't want to move the trap and start totally over. It took us 2 weeks to condition her to go back into the trap after that happened. ua-cam.com/video/jMOrA4ry4DM/v-deo.html
My daughter and I tracked & trapped a chihuahua that was on the run for a month! He traveled 4 miles from home following a walking trail that goes through 3 cities. He fled at the sight of a human. We used field cameras, flir heat sensors to spy on him, walkie-talkies w/ ear pieces to go silent and camouflage outfits. His weakness...bratwurst sasauge & Mom's bed pillow! He was trap shy so we set up an xl dog kennel with his mom's pillow & blanket & a feeding station inside. After 2 days of getting him used to the kennel, we tied a long rope to the door & camped out. At first we thought he caught our scent, but we put broken up bratwurst at the back of the inside of the kennel. His hunger won and when he went to the back of the kennel to eat we pulled the rope that shut the door. We had to actually use a scoop net to secure him. Called his mom, met her at the vet. He was covered in a blanket of fleas & ticks. His mom said poor baby slept for 3 days. Then a very feral 50lb dog that everyone failed to trap, we were successful in trapping her in 2 hours. She avoided traps, so we set up a huge trap & camouflaged it with brush & branches. Carpeted the inside floor with leaves. Then baited with food from her favorite haunt...Popeye's chicken. She growled and snarled at us when we went to her. So we set up a "picnic" next to the trap & calmly talked to each other and the dog while feeding her chicken. After an hour she easily allowed us to open the door, leash and lead her to my car. Got in and started wagging her tail and just curled up on a blanket and slept hard. She welcomed bathing her and she quickly adjusted to us. Within 1 day she was giving nonstop kisses and was the sweetest thing! She was cleared by the vet & one of the staff adopted her! I'm 60 now and cannot do this important work anymore. I loved it & i miss it.
Wow that is awesome!! Are you on Facebook? You should join our lost dog trapping page. It has people around the world on it, we bounce ideas off each other its a nice group of people

He's like oh crap!!! Gotcha🐾♥️😘
Great job!
Thankyou
I don't think he is deaf fully if he is because yesterday he was coming to me and I was making the kissy noise and shaking the food bowl then I sat it down and when he heard the dogs barking across my alleyway he ran
