i know this comment is really late but i just started selling on depop and depop has been taking 3-4 dollars on my $15-18 items. my shipping is usually between $3.50 to $4.85 depending on the item. anyways i recently sold a $15 item with $3.50 shipping and i received only $15 because they took $3 so i’m confused on why i’m even setting a shipping price when they take that money and i have to pay for it? i thought the shipping money was so i could pay for my shipping but it feels like they’re just taking my money i need for shipping :/

Do you have to buy the flat rate envelopes from the post office? And do you need a business pay pal account to use it for shipping or can you use a personal account?

Ik i'm late but i recently sold some filas disruptors for 55$ (which includes the 10$ shipping) but when i went to ship her item at the post office i ended u paying 21$ for the shipping label and the box. Do you think i should've increased the shipping price if i had known i had known i was going to be the one basically paying for the buyer shipping? Also with all the depop fees how much money am i actually going to get back? With this being my first sale PayPal put my money on temporary hold, is there anyway i can remove this or i have to wait the 21 days. Thank you if you read all of this

Hi! I have a question. So I bought a vinyl from a person on Depop but the person is new and it is their first time selling. I spent $76 total (I know, it’s rare LOL) so the person asked me on why they took $13.00 instead of $7.00 since it’s 10% due to Depop fee? I’m also confused and need help lol thanks!
