Has it been restored at some point? The windscreen has 90 degree corners on it whereas the pictures with them driving it, the windscreen has rounded edges?

I used to know the guy who actually sparked the fire (used to be a family friend).Haven't talked to him in years, told us what happened shortly after the fire. He worked hvac and did a few other things but he was having to solder something (or use a torch for something, might not have been soldering) in an area under a stair well. There was a type of oil or something either on the floor or around the area he was working in that was supposed to be dry enough to not be a fire risk. I want to say it was a stain or something for hard wood floors but I was about 12 at the time so who knows. Anyway, he went to light the torch and poof, flames started spreading. IIRC he lost a good bit of hair in the deal.

15 bucks for this is such a steal idk how they can even do it. Even if it was 50 I’d say it’s a major steal. Especially in todays economy when u can get like 6 or 7 sodas for 15 bucks

That’s pretty cool to see them run so closely. I’ve seen them race on TV many times during the Padres games, but never that up close. The front 3 runners looked like they were in great shape & taking the race seriously.

I think it started as a memorial to Adam Petty, Kyle's son. I personally know kids who have had the time of their lives there.
