This is an amazing antenna for installation in lofts. Works great for 50MHz E layer contacts as well as MSK144 meteor scatter.
What is the size of that board?

The diameter of the tube for the ugly balun/air choke is 32mm 1&1/4" NOT 40mm 1&1/2"as stated in the video. You will discover this when you try to whind 7turns of 75ohm coax on 40mm and wonder why you can only manage 6 turns with no excess to attach the Blok at the end🇬🇧👍😎👍🇬🇧 73. 2E0LFD
If the working frequency is 27 MHz, how many coils does the ungly balun have?
@@adekdzaki2290The length of RG59 needed will be 7.1 feet or 2.2 meters. Add some extra length to compensate for the leads to the terminal blocks. The number of turns does not matter.

Other matching stubs are just linear cable. You've got a helical winding. Does that change stub length? Act as a choke on the transmission line as well?
