    Great video and explanation. My son loves books over toys but won’t talk. Babbles a lot. My wife is Filipino and didn’t know how to do this part with our kiddo. He’s now 2 and you can see the frustration in him. She never did stuff getting eye contact since he was born and I couldn’t figure out why he loves just me reading to him every night and now all day but not a word from him yet.

    My Grand Daughter has Sensory issues due to her being born addicted to Opiates In Utero She has a G-I Feeding Tube from almost birth because she didn't want to suck her bottle. She is now @almost 3 yrs old and is very picky when it comes to any kinds of new foods and YES I AM VERY EXHAUSTED! Food is Very Expensive! She is Underweight @ only weighs 23 pounds soak and wet! Her diet consists of all kinds of pasta with salt pepper Tons of butter! potato chips french fries eggs cheese yogurt bananas Peaches cooked carrots LOL! occasionally chicken which makes me very happy since she can tear a chicken thigh up! She is currently seeing her Pediatrician faithfully every Month for her weight checks & she has gained a pound. Serenity is being fed a prescription formula for her GTube continuous feed @ Night only of 480 mls. total @ 55 for the rate of formula for 8 hours a night. Thank God for this because at least I know the team of doctors Nutritionists are helping her to keep up her weight since she is so picky during the day & eats like a little bird. 😞 Please pray for Serenity to meet her weight goal. Thank you & God Bless you all who are struggling with your child's nutritional journey 🙏✝️👍💯

    My son's eyes will look to the right involuntarily. Really hard and noticeable, and only for a few seconds. Doctor has no idea whats wrong. Maybe i should take him to the eye doctor.

    • @beyondbehavior
      @beyondbehavior 8 місяців тому

      There could be other issues going on as well. If you do take him to an eye doctor, I would make sure it is a developmental optometrist. They should have the letters FCOVD after their name. If you are looking for a more thorough assessment for his behavior and developmental, I'm happy to help. You can email me at behaviorworxpa@gmail.com All the best, Kristan

    Miss, from what i understand if my child response to the tactile/food taste / temperature according to the right response, then they are normal? Right?

    • @beyondbehavior
      @beyondbehavior Рік тому

      When it comes to typical and atypical, sensory processing and developmental delays are multidimensional, meaning that one sense can be functioning appropriately and other senses are not. If you have any concerns that your child might have sensory issues in other areas (because there are 8 senses), then it is best to talk to their pediatrician and have them evaluated by an occupational therapist. I am reading into your question so if this isn't the information you are looking for, let me know and I can provide more specific information.

    I am trying to understand how to help my little brother even he is far away from me, since I moved to another country he’s 9 years old and he’s not focusing at school he’s not writing his lessons even in the exams he’s not trying to read the questions or answer them, he is always distracted and not listening to anyone his teachers say that he is not focusing and even doesn’t like sitting in his chair, I am so worried about all that and his future, and want just to mention that my family doesn’t offer him a quiet and favorable environment to grow up, specifically my father unfortunately is not a good father as he should be
