Why must the BI be cool before activation?
Please why should we never reuse a detergent solution?
❤️❤️❤️
That my daily job with Steris
I felt I was watching Forensic Files 😳😳
Hopefully those trays are not going to be used for a patient's surgery since they haven't touched a thousand times who am I kidding obviously they will be that's why patientslikeme suffer greatly
These trays are sterilized prior to being used!
Very good information
Sounds like Peter Thomas 🤔

During a bronchoscopy, the surgeon retrieves a small bronchial tissue specimen with a biopsy brush. The surgical technologist assisting the surgeon uses a brush to smear the microscope slide held by the circulator. 1) What is the purpose of the smear? 2) Is this Procedure considered a sterile procedure?
Excellent
what détergent to use please
we have one that ineed softwareher 'operating system' own how do i get it
Forensic files!!!!!
RIGHT!!!???? Before pressing play, I was loathing the video because the videos from their sight have a robot narrating the steps. The second I heard his voice I squealed with excitement!! Anything he narrates keeps my attention! Probably watched every FF episode 20 times because his voice is so unique and makes the show super creepy!!
Yeah, so true maybe it's him
90 cc of air
How much does one of these cost
$180,000
Very useful video. The items mentioned in the video are available here!
Very good
Thank you im planning to take the class
Same narrator as Forensic Files?
Its him
He’s a legend!
This was honestly a very good breakdown.
What if you leave the sterrad door open too long?
How do I turn off
how long does it take to clean one instrument. wow
Look at it this way, we are going to use this instrument in your procedure tomorrow. How well do you wanna it clean and sterilized?
How long does it take ?
No one has ever been able to explain to me what the reader is reading in the BI, there can be no growth at one hour, so what has changed in the BI, and how does the reader detect it, 3M just said read the IFU
Endospores or bacterial spores are the microorganisms that are predominantly used within Biological Indicators, as they are considered some of the most difficult microorganisms to destroy. The incubator technology includes an ultraviolet light that detects growth.
@@sterileprocessingdepartmen5926 are you saying it can detect grow using ultraviolet in one hour ? It does not grow that fast , I have been told that there is an enzyme that is destroyed in autoclave process, and that the ultraviolet is showing that the enzyme no longer exists, not sure if that is correct,
The nozzle seems to gunk up a lot. What do you suggest. Alcohol doesn't work.
Great question! Keep nozzle on OFF position when not in use. You may use a cloth with hot water to clean the nozzle and degunk.
Very informative contents
Great info👍🏽
Can we reuse the swabs ??
no
Thanks video came in handy at work
❤️
Awesome work

Thanks for posting this. I work in sterile processing and we have the exact same cans you guys have.
Couldn't pass the CRCST test, could ya.
at this stage it's not sterile staff wash there hands and arms before they start
amazing that the skin up to the elbows is exposed..... I don't think flakes of skin being flung around in the operating theatre is such a good idea when opening the package.
You are actually required to wear a disposable OR jacket with sleeves all the way down to your wrist and never pulled up while wrapping instruments or assembling trays - AAMI standards.
Excellent product..............
That s a great video. Very interesting for me as I am starting a class training for sterile technician
He sounds like the guy who narrates on Forensic Files.
